So happy for your family with your spring garden success. [ I have to chuckle, we live in ZONE 4...We had a winter that came very early and never left...Snow extended into spring and we’ve had RAIN...RAIN...RAIN...the other part of spring - Only this past weekend did I just begin to start planting our gardens; We’ve had so little sunshine and so little heat to dry the ground out, that the grass isn’t growing that well at the organic dairy farm that I work part time at - An abundance of grazing, we’re not quite there yet, nor are we close for the first cut of hay....FARMING, HOMESTEADING, LIFE - Always a challenge that keeps us on our toes] - HAPPY GARDENING 🌞🌺🥬🥒🍆🌶🥕🥦

Tricia Sklodowske I left my garden unattended for 5 years and it grew weeds all over! 😩 So, I‘ve spent lots of time to clean up this summer to save my strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. I have picked some berries and enjoyed eating them. The best was making raspberry jam and sent to my daughter. Although my garden is just cleaned up, I have three tomato plants that I put in earlier are now giving me fruits. I‘m thinking to get sugar peas, green beans, lettuce, spinach.....for next spring and tomatoes, pumpkins, zucchinis for the summer. Where do you get seeds, on line or local store? I live in NW zone 8 where summer is mild. Hope I have time to keep up gardening next year. 😇 Bless.

I have some raised bed's and some container's plus squash and pumpkins grown on the ground. Will have to use hoop coverage on the bed's this fall. God's blessing on your gardening.
