Its difficult tbh. So many people just intent on hunting. Its a big problem. Especially if your trying to do missions. Guess it makes them feel good getting kills on real people who arent paying full attention due to being focused on something else. If only there was a game mode dedicated to PVP on these 2 maps?

Ask to be friendly with people. You always run a 2 man team, It's a game in which you can talk and join teams. I've created instant 6 man teams just cause squad fill and asking to be friendly. Plus, you activated a UAV tower, which pings on the map(as you should know) alerting to all players there are some nearby. So what do you do with a 6 man team, but wipe teams on the map, proceed to contracts/ weapon cases. Perhaps try joining up with a 3 man at the start of the game, and running it through.

Nah it's a staple part of the game 🤷 we had people try to kill US just end up getting wiped or be wiped. There are groups in tarkov that do nothing but hunt too. It raises the already low stakes.

We play in party chat so we can’t prod chat. 99% of the time we get shot at on site so now we return the favor 100% of the time. I wish it wasn’t like that

But that's the beauty of the game mode, you come in, loot, do mission but you also need to remember there is other players in the game that 80% of the time aren't friendly. Expecting people too "play at as a looter extraction game only" is not how this game mode should be treated. To be fair aswell, if you think people look at this as a smaller warzone is the thought process then you sound like the sort of player to engage a team, realize that they might be better, procede too either run away and if you're killed, rip into them with "You guys just wanna feel like pro players" or accuse them of hacks. Pvp is a pinnacle point in this game type and if your not ready for it whether your doing missions or looting then that's on you.

Combined squads are more common because PvP is so much more prevalent now. Its not really an extraction game mode anymore, its just turned into a battle royale with more freedom.

Why does PvP make you consider it to not be an extraction game? That’s what extraction shooters are all about. Im skeptical that you’ve played any other extraction shooters, if that’s how you think it works. It’s high stakes, you gotta move meticulously and get to exfil and survive, or loose all the gear on you. That’s what makes it exciting and worth playing. You think that makes it more like BR? It’s almost the opposite of BR in which death has no penalty on the next game, so you just keep going until you die or are last alive.

Simple solution. If more than a 3 man, you get pinged on radar as an “extreme threat” or something every 10 seconds. The more people, the more quickly it pings on radar for everyone

@@justinmurray4652 why??? , the ability to have 6 encourages friendly gameplay just as much as it does agressive ! I tend to pick up pleas and offer to team with other squads on the final exfil. If you lower the number people are just going to K.O.S more because they won't be able to trust another squad is actually friendly . It will just make it more PvP heavy which is what you all seem to be moaning about 🤦🏻♂️

We broke the game last match. The final exfil chopper happened to be in the stadium near hafid port. But we chose to do the rescue hostage mission. And our rescue chopper landed right onto the final exfil chopper and completely destroyed it . The game was constantly says " ultra 1, we are holding for 1 mins only " And there were still other squad trying to exfil. We exfilled safely but they couldn't. Everyone was like "wtf"

I've had it a couple of times recently when playing with randoms, they get killed by other players then when you go to help they flip to the other team and then kill you. Aa a solo at that stage you don't get any option to ask for help it's just game over. Really annoying.

Maybe an idea to balance the team of 6. For every additional team mate you have the revive time increases. So having a full team of 6 would have an extremely slow revive compared to a solo player who would have an extremely fast revive. 3 players would be the regular revive time.

That's why there needs to be a solo/duo/trio option in the game. How large the squad can be depends on the mode you're playing, make it 2 times the size you start with. So if you start in solo DMZ, the most you can team up to is 2, as duo DMZ up to quads, and trios can team up to 6. You can have solo.duo,trios, and quads for BR and resurgence...make it the same for DMZ.

I agree.....but I think the problem is for them to be able to do it they need to invest more on the DMZ mode,it still says beta on it,even though it's the second season...that tells me they invested more on multiplayer and warzone2 than DMZ in the first season,when they realise DMZ was actually taking off it was too late to do more than what they did by the change of the season,maybe that's why it's still in beta.... hopefully now they realize DMZ has actual potential,my problem is that that is that they'll in time just do what they did with warzone,fu*** the game.....hope not....

and to everyone saying that it would "hurt" the playerbase by splitting up dmz.... it wont because most of the playerbase that left are people who got tired of being teamed up on. if they brought a solo or duo mode to dmz, then I would be back the SECOND that the mode is released. Just dont want to be at a disadvantage because I enjoy playing solo in an extraction mode...

I don't mind larger teams so much, what I hate is they grab a chopper and get hunt squad contracts so they know exactly where you are. The biggest fix right now would be to just pull the hunt squad contracts out of the map altogether. Or block 6 man teams from being able to get hunt squads.

2 teams can join the same raid. If you see someone typing in chat as soon as you spawn in then it is 2 teams verifying they are in the same raid

this is what the prelobby chat has done to the game. i've ran into so many of these lately. you'll see someone write something random in pregame lobby, so they can see if they're in the same lobby or if they need to cancel queue and go again.

It’s actually super easy to get in the same lobby as a friend. All you do it queue at the same time, and if your countdown matches their countdown, you are 100% in their server. Now this isn’t an issue for small squads like 2 friends trying to cheese the exfil tracking mission, but when you have 2 squads of 3 it is gamebreaking and really should be bannable (or better yet, IW should fix this garbage). They should at the least make a solo and duo version of DMZ where you can’t team up.

DMZ really need a Hero & Bandit system similar to the old Dayz mod. And some other systems and mechanics that make sense. Also perhaps take advantage of the AI in a more reasonable way, splitting AI's up into 3 factions, and how the AI behaves depends on player status. Now while DMZ are in Beta is the time for them to experiment with different ideas and features. I don't understand why the devs are so scared to take chances. They could always split DMZ into 2 branches 1 normal/basic and an experimental branch. DMZ got so much potential but it seems like the devs are too slow in making a decision and just try something. Keep up the great videos Stodeh.

If I'm a sole survivor and a squad is hunting me, there is no reason for AI to be beaming me as I'm scrambling for my life. Same with Chopper commander. I use a suppressed weapon, so no reason for all their attention.

They should learn from Division. Once you go rogued killing someone, you should be exposed on maps so everyone can see it. Ppl want to hunt will hunt, ppl who want to avoid will avoid.

I run with a buddy as a duo and we’ve been consistently running into severely hostile teams of 3-6 on both maps within minutes of loading in and just being shredded regardless of how cautious and tactically we play. Ashika could certainly do with a change in spawn locations as well. Falling in 150 meters away from another team and just rushing them if you’re fully kitted feels cheap to exploit but it’s more so frustrating to be on the receiving end when all you’re looking for is a 2-plate system and some bullets

There's definitely two types of players, mission oriented and hunter/killer. I know I've assimilated into a large group as protection from hunter/killer teams. I think there should be a karma system based on mission completion to pvp kill ratio. There's lots of ways to even the playing field without massive changes to game play using a karma system.

Agree there should be some down side apply on the team that has more than 3 players, like when you squading more than 3 ppl, then there will be more AI reinforcement on you or your team location revealing intermittently to another team.

Usually most 6 man's aren't very co ordinated as its 2 or 3 conversations/ objectives in their collective at once. Any pvp situation if me and my buddies come across a 6 we win just off tactics where as if we're in a 6 man us 3 do the work the others end up being distractions that do nothing lol

Small "tips" when facing against bigger squads: They usually have no teamwork most of the time, and theres a large chance multiple of them want to approach a fight different than others. which will be an disadvantage to them. 2. They usually get confident due to quanity of their squad, which will naturally decrease the quality if the players, try to take advantage of it. Or just try and make a run for it.

However, as I've seen absolutely nobody use specific pings on cod such as "defend here" unless all the 6 people understand the same language (I'm in central EU, this by itself is extremely rare) and all are on mic, it's unlikely? -p.s just having 2 guys walk in front while the others kinda just follows like ducks isn't really teamwork.

The other day me and my team got killed by a "team" of 10 people (in 2 different teams since the max is 6) 2 minutes after the start of the game. Apparently 4 teams queued together and started roaming the spawn points killing everyone they found. How do you counter that? Even if they had no coordination (which that was not the case) it's such an overwhelming advantage in number you can't do anything about it.

Thats just fucking unfortunate 2.Lemme try and think if what was probably the best thing you could do besides pressing the leave button Try to run away first of all, if they are persistent attempt to down one thats more isolated, it's odd if they were to stick together that close. then run while theyre busy. Not just run any way of course, if you're for example in a city go to a high building, has not many access points and a lot of exit routes. near water play the long game and just go to the edge of the map and go along the water, breaking line of sight and stealth are probably the best options If you're feeling brave openly firing from them on a roof could have *some* effect. Lastly, use your teammate as bait and come to pick him up later (if its your friend of course) this needs to be pre planned of course. It'll probably take *some* time for them to notice the last person ran off or has a good hiding spot.

I think actual lives could be an option , as in the number of times you can be revived. Or potentially the bigger your team the longer it takes to revive your downed teammate. I think the number of lives would add an extra layer of restraint. The Rez time is similar to TTK in the game mode and fundamentally dictates if you push or don’t especially against bigger teams.

6 man squads are a problem , Today I ran into 2 random players in DMZ and they went straight to Airport(where their other friends spawned). I thought they were enemies and killed one , the rest of them joined their squad and killed me . They need to fix this assembling this Fast. BTW NICE VIDEO ❤

It's a weird system in my opinion because at the start it's a 3 man max so you go under the confidence that there will be no threat larger than your own and it feels somewhat fair aside from the ridiculous weapons, but then you run into a handicap where your at a huge disadvantage. I personally say get rid of it or have those people become permanent threats in any game they jump into. Your way of being is reflected in your playstyle.

We need a rep system that gives different boons and banes depending on your rep and faction allignment. (Ex: Low Operater kills = Orange Ping on UAV signaling your neutral, High Operater kills= Red Ping on UAV signaling KOS because player is most likely hostile. Also bots may or may not be friendly depending on this)

Assimilation just kills this mode. What would be better instead is being able to revive down players at the cost of immunity from the player/team. Or they should limit Assimilation to only 3 people. So solos can join a 2 man. Or duos can invite a solo. Or they should only allow assimilation at final extract when the countdown begins.

I actually really like this idea. Sometimes there is another squad/solo in our way being a problem, or maybe I just want to steal your stuff. There are a lot of times where Im not going to wait around and see if you are friendly or not, but I also don't want to wipe you. Sometimes we end up picking up a 4th and just taking them to exfil, giving them a spare self res or armour on the way. But a lot of the times I wish I could revive people after beating them and send them on their way without worrying about getting attacked again. But also not having them in the squad. An option to mercy or request to leave. Though I don't think a limit of 3 is the best idea. You don't get a big advantage picking up a random 4th and helping a solo is fun. Even six man teams are usually fairly rag-tag and uncoordinated. But it's not really fun/fair to be surprised by a six man. You should get to know their general area as a "high threat" so you are not surprised by them and can plan accordingly. You should not get a numbers advantage and element of surprise advantage at the same time. But you should also not be penalized super hard because a lot of the time six men squads are just trying to get missions done and not bother anyone. A reputation system is really needed to keep this mode from just becoming a different battle royal. There should be some penalties/rewards to keep people in check. I don't want the game to only have friendly players, a balance is needed. But something needs to be done to not let things get too far in either direction. Being Solo/friendly should come with some bonuses and bigger groups/hostile groups should have penalties to give them more of a challenge in wiping servers. I don't want to remove the player hunting play style, I find it fun sometimes, but you should have to be more on your toes if you are doing it. You could even reward players for surviving with maximum penalties so it does not completely dis-insensitive that play style.

Easy solution is to do what you did activate UAV and set traps. They are always going to loot theme dead bodies. Simply sent 1 of your team to an open area and have him engage enemy. They will try to kill him. Get a clear line of sight with Sniper and take them out 1 by one. Moving after spotted. Then 3rd guy covers the dead body while 2nd guy reposition. Claymores/proxies on the UAV station usually gets kills. You need to stay away from high value targets when 6 man is known to be raping the lobby. Down 1 of them and interrogate before finishing the guy. Sometimes we have had success making the guy plead or die. 9 times of 10 the player will plead and join up. But watch for them to switch back to the original 6 man. It's always obvious if the guy OFP's. He will try to run back to his guys and you won't be able to communicate on comms because they will be in other channel. That ain't no one on a 6 man team not having a mic.

I think the existing random matching system to make teams is part of the problem. It constantly matches you with people who have different missions. One of the only things that random players might be interested to do together is PvP and they have no reason to be loyal to their original team. In every teams of random players, there is almost always a guy who run into the enemies, die, and instantly join the enemy team. The rest of the team then has the choice between fighting a 2vs4 or joining the enemy team to avoid loosing gears. This is a nightmare because not only it kills the mission part of DMZ, but it also prevents from playing balanced PvP.

It makes no sense to design DMZ as a game played by teams of 3 players and: - Allow for team of more than 3 players to be assembled. Team size should be limited to 3 players (allowing solo to plead by the way). - Have players with no common mission/goal in the same team. Either mission should be design to be “team mission”, or improve the random matching system by allowing player to change their mission after being matched for example

Yeah having people with the same missions should help. I guess the problem with that is you'd end up with teams of teir one mission newbs trying to figure out the game running into salty veterans doing pvp heavy teir 4/5 missions. As it is now at least if you're new and don't really understand the format you'll probably be paired with someone who can help you get your bearings somewhat.

From what I’ve seen 6 mans are typically the worst players in DMZ that require the numbers advantage to hide behind. It’s extremely difficult as a proper 2 or 3 man and basically impossible as a solo, but if you can full kill 2 of them or even 3 quick enough they’re skill issues become exposed and they usually start to freak out. Bonus: if you do kill a 6 man with a proper 2 or 3 man (or even better, as a solo) make sure to talk as much shit as possible to put them in their place and remind them how bad they are at the game :)

4-6 man squads are the only chance average joes like me have against the Stods and Westies in DMZ. In the couple of hours a week I have to play this game, larger squads are some of the only ways my buddy and I have been able to complete missions. That being said, if anyone is looking for two mid tier players that they would like to carry thru the missions, we’d love some help 😆

I agree, 6 man squads can be annoying but we have done it too a few times, we just don’t actively seek out players. Only the ones that are doing missions and if they are just seeking players, we just leave them be or exfil. Funny story, buddy and I dropped in duo, keeled two of a 3-man and they wanted to squad up. Went about doing our mission and 4 min later, a 4-man showed up (5v4). We downed 3 of them and 2 of the other players left our squad and joined this other one (now 6v3). One person from their team stayed with us. Me and my friend wiped the 6-man alone while the other guy still on our squad went to the other side of the map. We were doing hostage and exfil’ing and the other guy died on the exfil chopper before getting out. Just goes to show, it never pays to betray people. Game registered 14 operator kills between the two of us because of revives.

Just about every game we have had this happen over the last cpl of days, we just about regain and get pushed by an unstoppable force, we also noticed more players that always seem to know your exact location, you do a massive wrap around and as soon as you peak you are headshot. I agree that more than 3 man need to be a ping on map, perhaps like a hunt squad with the ping being tighter the more members you have, and make it so players get a bigger reward for killing this size of team or give them a longer cooldown on weapons depending on the size of the team, something negative to counter the power play.

I play 95% of the time solo, and I’ve noticed other players are more likely now to request to join. Stodeh has mentioned that they shouldn’t break up the player base with solo squads etc, I agree. Few ideas I have are perks get disabled if you are in a 4-6 man team, an audio warning to players within a radius of a 4-6 man team, like when AI are on high alert. The ability to damage and or shoot down final exfil chopper, so large teams can’t just block 1-2 man teams at final exfil. The thread of losing the exfil should effect strategy of final exfil.

Agree, and I like your suggestions, but I feel it's part of the game and a somewhat mixed opinion. Because at the end, each one decides to infill solo or not, or accept/deny requests (so it's open to anyone, it's like crying because someone used a sniper and I didn't). Of course 6 man teams shouldn't be so dominant that they can ruin other player experiences, but also they decided to add a team, as anyone can too. Don't want to be wiped, add someone too.

The final exfil being vulnerable would be game breaking, a solo player could jokr the chopper from miles away and deny any other team the exfil, and there's nothing they can do about it

I'd say a good fix is that if you have more than 4 members in your squad, you keep your 3 plate vest but you can only shove down 2 plates. This lets people to have a fighting chance, at the same time it welcomes cooperative play by inviting 1 random to your 3 man squad for a optimal 3 plate. Optionaly for a 6 man they could have a permanent game wide bounty, show up on radar when shooting unsurpesses guns, and/or AI are more aggressive to them (meaning more nades, slight accuracy buff, and if the AI are fighting a 2 man squad then they'll back off switching targets. Maybe a faster heli response with T3 enemies.). All these downsides can be offset by 2 things, 1 is a secret mission where they need to hold the fort on a key arena for like 5 ish minutes and they get a heli extract. So for the risk of having so many debuffs they get a custom extract with an extremely high payout.

I've taken a 6-man team after my teammates betrayed me during a firefight with an enemy squad of 4. I was left out after they were downed by the enemy team and assimilated, but because I was too hard to kill, they all decided to try to gang up on me. I took my time and single-handedly took out all of my ex teammates and the enemy team players with a grouns loot xpr and m4. It was my most clutch moment ever on mw2.

Personally ran into this last night…as a solo player, I lived mainly cause I think they were looking for another team and I tend to run skins that look similar to NPC’s on the map I literally ran right past them a few times with a picked up AK74U needless to say I didn’t leave Al Mazrah City for about 5 minutes…5 minutes of pain.

I'm guilty of this. We mainly do this just to get group contracts done faster for all of us, but when we are hunting around we usually stick to people who shoot first (or I do).

Quick 6 mans are the norm on Ashika without preplanning. Did 10 runs there last night with a buddy. All but one infil we made a 6 man off the rip just by running to another spawn and inviting. We fought 4-6 man squads in nearly every match.

There's definitely an air of invulnerability that you feel when you're rolling in a 6 man squad. However at least twice I've been in a big squad and the squad has been wiped as people were just running around as if they were bulletproof, so it's still easy enough to be out gunned even if you aren't outnumbered, if the team isn't organised.

I play solo dmz 95 percent of the time. And. Always starting over. When I do extract I stockpile keys for like drifting supply bag or main harbor control in order to regain ally gear. The only thing I can do is as soon as I know a teams near by I spam the want to join button. I totally agree with your recent video about solo player being able to plead or spawning with 2 plate and self res. Found your channel recently and you guys are awesome and inspiring thanks for the content

Here's an idea! When a team is hunting, the hunted should have a safe house (stronghold) where bots level 3 will protect/help you during the hunting time (spawning bots like crazy as usually they do).

I think my biggest issue, is I tend to keep an eye out for teams with my sniper, but typically don't engage, however when they see the glint it's a sign of a hostile team.

@@muggsyd yep I’ve noticed that to. When they see a sniper glint Stodeh then says, ‘Oh oh they’re looking at us with snipers.. do they want the smoke…? Do ya!!’ & then they engage & kill them thinking they must be hostile because they saw the sniper glint. But hey whatever gets the clicks lol

Totally agree they have to make it harder for larger teams. Me and a friend are constantly being chased by 5 or 6 man teams, they just roll up in multiple vehicles and then it’s a game of survival which is just rubbish. Doing missions is so bloody hard because of these teams

My issue is honestly people asking to join your team, you accept, they report to their former teammates where you are and how many and instantly jump back to their team. Or you rescue someone and have them join your team, and all they do is run right back to their team and ask to join again. I feel like once you've left a team, that's it, you can't join them again.

let me explain this: once you unlocked your 2nd or 3rd insured slot, there's NOTHING ELSE TO DO so what do you do?: squad up, grab a heli, and get all the squad hunt missions

I farm perks, but there is no skins to farm... the only good skin was in al mazrah but in ashika or building 21 are bad to me, there is nothing you can do except survive if you play solo and farm perks, other thing in my case i trying weapons right now im using a Tempus with a shotgun underbarrel

I as a solo ran into a 12 man squad. Best part they were all in discord and typed in chat before the game started. Queueing as a 6 man group at the same time is becoming more frequent. I wouldn't mind if they removed the team request feature.

@@goldravensgodawfulgaming3148 Yup they grouped as two six man squads running the same Kortac skin so they could tell each other apart easier if they started to kinda split, they were just rolling about in a single cargo truck hunting players. They invited me to their discord server after they killed me because they wanted to pick me up when one of them had to go. Said they have been doing it for weeks even told me that you can get the same lobby every time with friends during off hours. talking about how that was the most people they have gotten together in the same lobby but they usually run a 6 man. I left that shit because while I love pvp and hunting players, that shit is boring and toxic. This is why random queue times need to exist.

nah these people group up in discord and then find the two geographically closest people to be party leads. then join at the same time read server ID as soon as it connect if same then you are gonna be in same server together if not you back out and try again. 6 manning is honestly way to easy. they could fix this by just stopping showing the server ID in the bottom left corner

6 man teams have to go if you ask me. It’s fun to be in one but it actually makes you borderline invincible. Me and my friend were in a 2 man squad trying to kill a commander while holding the hostage, we broke the jugg’s helmet off, and then a squad of 6 rushed us. We died after killing maybe 3 of them, there was no way of knowing that there were more than 3. It’s “fun” when you’re part of it. It ruins the game otherwise. Squad Hunt contracts need to go too, the only time people grab them is when they want to play it like Warzone. And if a team has more than 3 people they should have a circle on the map similar to the dogtag circles so we can avoid them. It genuinely ruins the game if you have to go up against this often.

What needs to change is the ability of people “meeting up”. Basically, two people (usually in the same house or State) each host a game with two other people in their parties. They then force themselves into the same lobby, meet up at a predetermined location and party up.

Mad Idea: For every operator a person (or squad) kills they're on the map for 30-60 seconds ( ie: 1 kill, 30 seconds, 2 kills, 60 seconds 3 kills 90 seconds etc ) for everyone to see. Was on Ashika the other night, within 5 minutes a squad assimilated me, We spent the rest of the round till last extract in a car just doing laps of the island with uav's hunting players...getting out of hand tbh. I mean i enjoy a lil pvp as much as the next person but this 6 man death squad thing is getting kinda silly.

The obvious solution to the threat of large teams to me would also solve one of the biggest complaints since DMZ launched: the feral AI. Implement a system that scales the aggressiveness and detection range of the AI based on team size, which would be somewhat realistic since a larger squad is easier to detect and poses a bigger threat to enemy forces. If you are a solo player, the AI would basically ignore you unless you shoot at them, are inside a stronghold or similar AI controlled location, or are in close proximity to a commander or HVT. If you are just walking down the street, guards on the other side of the street patrolling a building would ignore you unless you shoot at them from within their detection range or get too close to their building. If you kill AI, reinforcements won't show up in the area unless you are in a stronghold or near a commander, and the AI won't chase you if you leave the area. For 2 to 3 man squads, patrolling AI won't wait for you to shoot before shooting at you if you get too close, but they still won't chase you from their assigned area. The detection radius for AI would be slightly larger (say 20 or 25 meters instead of about 15 meters for solo players), and the likelyhood of a reinforcement vehicle showing up after killing AI would increase, but isn't guaranteed. For 4 to 5 man squads, the AI detection radius would increase to about 45 meters, and AI within that distance will shoot at you, but won't chase you unless you kill another AI within that detection radius. If you kill AI, reinforcements are guaranteed to show up, but their rank will depend on whether you are in a controlled location or just on the street. For a 6 man squad, the AI detection radius for regular AI would increase to 60 meters, but commanders would know your location at all times as if you had the weapons case. If any member of your 6 man squad gets within 100 meters of a commander or a stronghold, Tier 3 reinforcements are guaranteed to show up and will chase you, but regular AI will only chase after you if you kill other AI within their (now 60 meter) detection radius, and only for a short distance. If more than one squad is within the respective detection radii of the AI, they will prioritize the "greater threat" i.e. the bigger squad. This means that if a 1, 2, or 3 man squad is being chased by a 4, 5, or 6 man squad, and they run into a group of AI, the AI will ignore the smaller squad once the larger squad is within range (even if the smaller squad has killed some of the AI), and will target that larger squad. This will discourage the formation of 5 and 6 man teams without making it unbearable for friends that just want to complete missions together to do so, and will give smaller squads a chance to get away from those 5 and 6 man teams.

You see if you had a warning on screen that a squad has just been formed, would be a cool way for players to be prepared and change game style, like if there is a 6 person team everyone gets a warning on screen where they were formed something like *A NEW 6 MAN TEAM HAS BEEN FORMED IN - HALFID PORT" so all can get a headsup

I think the mode would benefit from select lobby's. For me the PvP aspect is one of the biggest parts that makes it great, but limit it to 16 players - personal. If gta online can have an enjoyable solo online mode then cod can should be able to as well

Each player should show up in the minimap to other players if you are a squad of 4 or more. You have a advantage if you squad up this would even the field for regular squads.

Number 1 thing, any squad larger than 3 should NOT be allowed to grab a Hunt Squad contract. Won't solve everything but will help.

I always play as a duo on Ashika and we take every fight, but heavily outnumbered we bunker certain locations on the island. Pushing the top floor on the Stronghold apartment building is next to impossible, we are yet to lose a fight there if getting pushed. Also the topfloor on the BUY building at harbor are extremely strong. If a 5-6man wants us, by all means, peak that staircase/window and see how you do.

I have never gone up against a larger team but I have been a part of five player teams loads of times and the only time we almost lost is with a strong defence and some keen snipers

The more I play DMZ the more frustrating it becomes, just trying do the missions to unlock that 3rd slot. Spawning with 1 plate armor, crappy kontraband weapon, 1 min into the game, team with full 3 plates just mow us down. Respawn into the new game this time with my insured weapon, 1 min into the game again a team with full 3 plate, hunt you down, maybe you can get one guy down, but its just imposibble. I think the game need to spawn people that are regaining into seperate game session, the advantage is just absurd. Or 2 plate armor should be the standard.

Just had a round of DMZ. Within 2 min. We Got rushed by a full 6 man squard. Never hear any enemy coms. But they where cordinated for sure. The players where the same people who was spamming text that Pre lobby. But when the round started no more texts. They need to disable the prelobby text chat. Soo that 6 players dont have a easy time joining the same server. Or add a 1-20 seconds delay on finding a match

I’ve said this since the beginning. Teaming up is by far the worst thing in DMZ and doesn’t belong. There is no need for it and needs to be removed entirely.

I think another way around this problem (if COD maintained their player population 😕) would have been to add DMZ solos & duos into the mix and make it that the largest team you can create in game is double the max infil squad size. So for solos, 2 is your max. And for duos it would be 4. Additionally to this, adding a reputation system for the factions and AI would be ideal and would slow the PvP intensity we’re all feeling rn. Perhaps have safe houses for factions where teams can retreat to (locations tbd) where the AI won’t shoot you if reputation is good, but would shoot an opposing team. This could be interesting for rounds where teams are thirsty and chase you forever or they have a Hunt contract on you. Also like the “extreme threat” indicator that could be created. Even if it’s something that’s audibly said and pinged if that large team is within a certain range of you.

6 man teams in DMZ finally allowed me and my mates to play something other than multiplayer together. We just crack on with our game and only engage if fired upon, the only time we break that is if someone has a Hunt Squad faction mission.

Id say one change they could make is to only allow hunt squad contracts to be activated at a certain point into the match. Maybe 10-15 minutes after the match starts hunt contracts will be enabled

Dividing them usually works for us. Mostly play as a Duo Squad. We also don't stick around to try and kill everyone unless they are just that bad. Usually, we can kill 2 or 3 of them and then leave the area while they revive their fallen. Will also take their Vest and drop it somewhere else.

We played with a 7 man team yesterday - Squad of 6 + the brother of someone in the squad. We encountered a couple of squads who shot on sight only for us to wipe them out. We did however leave one man standing in the squad so they could revive their teammates. Good fun - but yeh, on the other foot, it sucks to be hunted.

Honestly the easy fix is to remove the ability to add members within the DMZ and just expand the squad size to 6. Then shutttle people into DMZ severs based on squad size Size 1-3, matches with 1-3 regardless and if it doesn't fill you still go in (Similar to tarkov). 4-6 matches with 4-6 squads. This way you cant just go 'hey lets go after these people, then we split and kill each other after'.

Happens on ashika a lot because everyones so close together. Ive personally had it happen where I spawned in with 2 randoms, told them on comms to go over to the next spawn with me, the other guys heard, we all agreed to team up, had a 6 man team up and going for the castle literally within 60 seconds.

welp just get a good friend to play with u i guess? i mean our trio fights 6 man squad like once every session and usually they just (sorry) sucks, we wiped them all easily, well sometimes we get wiped too if we are not ready or didn't have the equipment but it's the thrill of survival royale, you fight while risking everything that you have, with good equipment and setup like proximity mine, claymore, cluster etc, the key is position yourself well and gain as many advantage as you can, bring high count mag so you can keep fighting, always bring a killstreak that gather info like advance/uav, have a teammate atleast one recon drone, one muni box, and one portable radar, and lastly get a team that can shoot. honestly i don't understand why people hate pvp in dmz so much while it's the most thrilling part of dmz like do you enjoy shooting bots 24/7? because i don't and i know that it sucks that 6 man squad can get annoying and ruin your game so i will just say that squad with more than 3 players in it must be pinged in 3 levels like uav, 4 man squad works like a hunt squad radar where it shows just approximate location, 5 man squad get a ping like uav ping but globally, and lastly 6 man squad get the continous ping like they hold the weapon case/getting pinged by advanced uav, i think that's the most suitable solution if the devs still let the squad become a 6 man, seems pretty fair to me.

i make them choose time/effort for a chance at something decent, so their time vs perceived reward. if at the airport my team splits up an starts swimming for the red line. If in al-mazrah we each get into vehicle and head to different areas of the map. The hunt squad only seems to follow one member until they are dead. We also will take and cancel hunt squad contracts as we come across them. Also use the Al-Bagra underground as a post up location.

It happened to me once on mazrah, literally they had to be in on it before the match, I spawned with my team right opposite of akhdar and we had an ai car spawn so we took it and went to the weapons case in zaya after 2 and going straight to the exfil, A HELI POPS UP WITH SNIPER GLINTS AND I SEE JOKRS FLYING OUT. I just stood staring absolutely flabbergasted, while one by one my team got decimated😂😂😂

Its pretty daunting to run into. Your definitely right about the regulations needed to create balance because there isn't any when it comes down to a 3v6 or even a 1v3 or 4. When it comes to larger teams, the biggest thing you need to do is be constantly moving, if you sit and camp in one spot, you are going to die. Focus on one guy, if you down them, start moving to get another angle, don't try to get the finish, just focus on survival. If you keep the larger team guessing your location, you'll be able to menuver around them, especially around teams that are generally below average. If you were in a team and they die, your top priority should be to try and revive them, but if that means having to kill the team, well its your choice if you wanna fight or flee. Or hey, you can use the art of negotiating. Use everything at your disposal
