Lovely video as usual! You look beautiful as always… I adore watching your process so much despite the fact that I am now 66 and have to apply my own makeup without powder (except in the T-zone). The Givenchy and Westman A. powders ARE game changers for me, so thank you! Setting spray is also so important-as you’ve said- when powder is used sparingly. I recall being your age and not having to worry about creasing, having dry under-eyes, fearing my sparse eyebrows looked “too done” when I filled them in. It’s an art, lol. I’d LOVE to see more videos that might feature more tips and tricks with a mature model. I need all the suggestions you might be able to share!

Absolutely adore this look, but especially happy with your description of applying eyeliner from the pupil of the eye straight out past the end of the eye then filling the wedge in. This was something I was instinctively trying to do with mixed results, but it worked perfectly for me today! Thank you 🙏🏻 I also noticed how you hold the eyeliner pencil (further back than I do) and it has made all the difference in a gentle and light-handed application of eyeliner toward the inner corner of the eye. You are a wonderful teacher - I love your videos! 😘😘😘

When I was younger, I loved skillfully applying my makeup. It was always so fun and confidence building to enhance the already beautiful face that comes with youth. As I've aged however, I've struggled with applying makeup because my face and skin are just naturally different than they used to be. Less is definitely more now and I rarely wear any makeup at all. The problem is that I need color. While I'm decades older than this lovely teacher, her great instruction, subtle techniques, and her sharing exactly what products she's using complete with color names, is making me reconsider trying makeup again. I feel that even if I follow only some of her techniques, I can once again have a polished, enhanced, natural look that used to come so easily in my youth. Thanks for the thoughtful and thorough presentation! I'll give this a try.

I’m on your boat! It’s almost like I had to learn all over again to do my skin and makeup routines bc suddenly I turned 40 and face shape was different, eyes and lips different and skin tone and condition different! A whole new me I had to reinvent! I used to love sitting at my beauty table in my beauty room of my dreams but for a few years I was sad I basically lost my touch nothing worked anymore! I got over myself and started to watch new videos, with new influencers bc who I was watching were all about tik tok trends that filters were used etc etc etc and using all those filters during a tutorial effed me up big time I was ripping myself apart until I realized how fake most influencers are and how vane they are that they fool us all for years making us self conscious etc I’ve now accepted my age and what God gave me to work with! I just had to changed my attitude and start to see the good qualities I hold and that the not so good we’re still dealable and I could enhance them or hide them to bring out the good but I wanted to learn from a real person not a filter obsessed influencer and or one who only follows trends bc let’s face it trends aren’t always flattering for everyone nor realistic! I’m finding myself again and glad I found this channel!

Plastic surgeon here. Your lip will not sag from lip filler weight. Your philtrum will get longer and saggier not so much because of gravity but because 1. Your facial fat pads will reduce with age and that volume loss will affect how your eyes, lips, philtrum etc looks 2. Your skin quality gets worse. Imagine having a thick blanket covering tightly a balloon. Now imagine the balloon deflating and the blanket getting thinner and thinner - it will sag heavily. This is basically what happens to us as we age. Lip filler won’t affect the normal process of aging in any way. However, repeated poor placement of filler will create filler migration (when the filler crosses the lip border and places itself above it, so it looks like a bit of a mustache) and that will visually create the illusion of a longer philtrum and will therefore look aging. I loved your video! ❤️

Andreea, thank you for the master class! I adore this look, used to do kind of a thing in the 90s , but didn't know the eyeshadow trick, it's genius! Its all about shaping!
