The Train was a wonderful way for Rebecca to see her life play out. I loved how William was her guide. Then her talk with Dr. K. They played a big part in her life so I thought it was a perfect fit to say goodbye to them as well. I loved how Beth told her that not to worry, she’s got it from here in taking care of Randall. I also liked how Sophie and Toby got to say their goodbyes and leave it to Toby to say something funny. Then seeing Kevin and Randall with their younger selves. That was so sweet. I was hoping we’d get to see them again before it ended. Rebecca waiting for Kate. And then of course, being reunited with the love of her life, Jack. Her final destination. I feel like Rebecca passed when she closed her eyes and then that’s when we see Jack. I’ve been watching from the beginning, but I think this truly was my favorite episode. It was beautifully done. I was hoping that Miguel had a few more lines tho. He loved her and took great care of her. But it makes sense that maybe he didn’t because he knew Rebecca loved him, but he wasn’t Jack. Ah! I’m gonna miss this show so much

@@enelmartodoesfelicidad If you remember the show, Rebbeca didn't always had a good relationship with William, because he was the biological father to her adopted son Randall, and she was afraid of him trying to reach out to his son. So at the end, it was poetic that in her final journey to the afterlife, William is the "guide on the train" towards the end, and while Rebbeca has holding Randall's hand in the process of dying.

It’s crazy.. The child who was saved instead of Jack goes on to find a cure to Alzheimer’s disease later in life. And the fact that Jack spoke with his father moments before Jack died and he explained the lemons story. Damn, that episode was incredible.

If you go back and watch "The Big Day" (S1 E12), there is this scene where Dr. K is talking to his deceased wife about his day, and recounting telling Jack the lemonade thing. And he says something like (not a direct quote) "I picture that young man as an old man telling that story to a young man having a difficult time" or something. And when the episode originally aired in S1, we know that Jack is dead in the future timeline, but we don't yet know when he dies (we get a hint of that in the next episode "Three Sentences"). Anyway, it's a sad line when Dr. K says it because we soon learn that Jack never becomes an old man. And Boom! There he is, on the last day of this life, speaking those words to a man who needs to hear them. Dr. K's heart's desire is made real. So, so beautiful.

"the way i see it, if something makes you sad when it ends, it must have been pretty wonderful when it was happening. truth be told, i've always felt it a bit lazy to just think of the world as sad, because so much of it is, because everything ends, everything dies, but if you step back... if you step back and look at the whole picture, if you brave enough to allow yourself the gift of a really wide perspective, if you do that you'll see that the end is not sad rebecca, it's just the start of the next incredibly beautiful thing."
