Yea, I remember Universal Soldier. I think his character in Universal Soldier had similarities with his character in The Expendables. I mean his "evil" side, ruthlessness. Saying "insect" when kicking a guy out of a moving car. Having collecting ears from his victims to make a necklace out of it, classic. I think he is good at playing a bad guy. Van Damme doesn't seem to have that kind of ruthlessness in him that much in The Expendables sequel, even if his face was into it OR I am just so used to seen him play the good guy in like every 90s action movie he was in. PS. Have you seen "Dark Angel" from the 90s man that scifi is legendary. "I come in piece" :D so funny that one, even today.

It's one of my favourites from the 90s. Seeing Brandon Lee and Lundgren together is great. Yes, it is full of cheesy lines but when they get into action sequences it's quite good. Ironically, both Lundgren and Brandon Lee had their homes broken into at one point. In Lundgren's case some thieves broke into his house in Spain and tied his wife up, then saw Lundgren's photo on the wall and fled. With Brandon Lee, he found some guy in his home holding his television set and chased him about and out of the house - after taking a knife off him. Police turned up and Brandon saw ther guns and shouted, "I'm the good guy!" with his hands in the air. He said later that he was surprised the thief hadn't known it was his home; there were photos of Brandon with Bruce Lee, and other memorabilia that made it obvious to anyone that the home was Brandon's. Maybe the thief wasn't into martial arts or that genre of films? :-)

Lee Child (one of my favorite authors) should have cast Dolph as Jack Reacher in the two movies based on his book - not Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise should stick to flying the Tomcat! Anyone who read the Jack Reacher books knows that Jack "None" Reacher had blonde hair, blue eyes, 6'4", and is super strong... a perfect match for Dolph. My other favorite author, Michael Connelly, had Harry Bosch's character on Netflix played by Titus Welliver and he was a great fit. I'd love to see all the Jack Reacher books go to Netflix with Dolph as Jack "None" Reacher. If Lee Child sees my post, hopefully he will consider this. The Harry Bosch Netflix series is a hit, and I bet a Reacher series with Dolph would be too! Who's with me on this???
