I was a kid in the US in the late 1960’s. My friends mom bought a Triumph in the 1960’s. I loved how fun and sporty it was. We lived in the Northeast US and summers were not long, but it was a great car.

Everything in life comes down to chance from the moment of conception onwards, intelligence has almost nothing at all to do with financial success, a lot of the richest people around are also some of the dumbest, for those born into it when you start that high up it's almost impossible to fail, and these days the average person has some sort of degree therefore the majority must be of average intelligence, the best we can do is try to influence our chances with our decisions and actions but in the end it still always comes down to chance. I agree with the sentiment though!

Love the Barbour jacket. My jacket of choice for driving too!

I'm from across the pond. Would be nice if we could watch Richard Hammonds Workshop! I'm surprised us US viewers aren't able to watch it, even at a cost. That so, it makes me want to add that task to my dream trip of renting a mini cooper with a 6 speed manual and circumnavigate Great Britain.
