Its not the persons fault but the genetics of the dog unfortunately. These dogs are aggressive, and they do attack, and bite.. and maim. Out of interest, when you decided to get a very aggressive breed of dog known for killing children and other animals, what made you think it was a good idea? Just curious because everyday here in the UK we are seeing another sad story where these dogs are killing people and every time the owners say "they wouldnt hurt a fly" but yet it still keeps happening.
@thenomadceo
8 ай бұрын
@@TheLucyKemp this is an actual crazy statement. We are seeing the stories - I'm in the UK, so hear and see it and totally feel upset the same way everyone does. I'll go back to my previous point, it's purely down to ownership. A tiny dog could do the same thing, a child could attack another child - dogs aren't born evil. Most Bullys got sold through covid, as an accessory to little gangsters who had them to look cool. They haven't cared for them, looked after them or trained them. statistically you're more likely to get bitten by a jack russell. It's just XL bullys are far more capable hence the bite tends to lead to far greater injuries or death. If a jack russel had the same muscular capability, they would undoubtedly cause more murders. With proper ownership, diligent training, these Bullys are incredible companions. I've had mine round my baby nephews, neighbours children everyone. What i do think a good solution would be.. require a license to have one, where you need to prove the training/attention you give the dog. I just hope you stop being emotional about the current state and think rationally because it's being campaigned these dogs should be banned, and that would be a travesty. We just need safe and responsible ownership. p.s I got another this week and again, i've spent 2 hours every day training it - and I appreciate it's my job with a dog this capable to ensure it's safe, obedient and on-lead in any environment where there's other people

Dude is great with his dogs the only problem I have is he allows his dogs to walk ahead of him which tends to male the dog feel like he has to protect him, I own 2 Cane Corso's and I have the same problems with other idiot dog owners on walks but I do not allow my dogs to lead me they walk on my side or behind me btw that's the easiest way to control them if need be...

I have the same problem, I have a 10mnth old ginormous 50%cane corso/25% ddb/25% rotti mix, his temperament is amazing but he has been bitten by small dogs so many times, I'm now training him yo sit and assess the situation before going near small dogs or I make him sit even at a distance so the biting will reduce

At my work a customer comes through drive thru with two Bullys. They are so beautiful. I got to hand feed a treat to one. their head was as big as the car Windows. I felt bad for the owner, cause i think the dog crushed his downstairs area a few times. You have so many, i want all of them to come charging at me, get me to the ground and just clobber me with love

totally agree with what you said about the other inexperienced owners and their aggressive dogs, I own a wolfdog and the amount of times I have had to give out other owners about the aggressive lil dog attacking her. they oh its grand he won't do damage because my dog is bigger. Well that's not what I'm afraid of... its the bad manners their dog could teach my dog or more my dog having to protect herself and then them trying to blame her, thankfully I don't have to worry about the first cause she is well socialised now. the way I see it their is no such thing as a bad bread of a dog its simple a bad/inexperienced own = bad dog

donno about that. The poor female looks like she been bred more than she should. That male is really dominance posturing in every situation with other dogs even when he's being "friendly". Probably why he keeps getting attacked, and no one seems aware. To add they are all dilute colors which is bad for the health, but mass produced because it is highly profitable selling to low quality owners who care more about having a metallic dog than a healthy dog. Show me a kennel with nothing but fashion colors, and I'll show you an irresponsible breeder.

@@TheBurrito171 sounds like jelousy to me!! You can be a responsible owner and still have a dog who's protection is in the blood, so it naturally wants to defend, and like he said his dogs has been attacked, so again a dog is gonna be on guard if it's happened to it, DOES NOT MEAN HES A BAD OWNER!! HATERS GONNA HATE HATE HATE!!!

@@saifysdesignerclowns6867 I love protection dogs. Will never have non protective breedr. But dominance got nothing to do with protection instinct. It helps to have a confident dog when doing PPD training, but its possible to have a submissive and very protective dog. What this boy is doing is not being protective, its basically the dog equivalent of showing a middle finger to everyone you see. And thats why he's getting attacked. That's not even a big deal if you have a real working mastiff breed (which a bully is not supposed to be technically), in fact it can sometimes almost be expected. The irresponsible part is that the owner doesn't even seem to realize that's whats going on with the dog. He's not "friendly", even when they thought he was. You have a dog like this, let alone many, you should be advanced enough to know better.
