Robert Kiwosaki has some solid advice, but honestly there are more sources of revenue than just those 4. Take intellectual property for example. If you publish a song or a book, you could make a lot from royalties, licensing, etc. That technically isn’t registered as any form of business nor are you investing or being an employee.

An individual creator of intellectual property is self-employed at the point of creating such property. When cash starts to flow in without much extra effort, then it transits to investment quadrant.

Very great observation. Specially with all the new ways of creating money the lines begin to blur. The main idea of the book is to illustrate the main categories of income that the majority of the population fall into, how it affects the transition to wealth and how to used them.

Make money through a high profit margin and simple business like course sales. Take the money and put it into index funds then take a line of credit against the index funds at lower interest rates then use that to buy multifamily real estate. That is how you get wealthy and it compounds over time.

The wealthy understand the necessity to prolong purchases that really will make no difference. They understand time more than anything and therefore invest for their future. Make money now versus spending on x,y, or z. Invest folks, whether in yourself, equities, real estate... anything... just don't blow your money trying to impress anyone else.. You only will eventually come to regret your decisions when you read your bank statements...

A cash flow statement shows the exact amount of a company's cash inflows and outflows over a period of time. The income statement is the most common financial statement and shows a company's revenues and total expenses, including noncash accounting, such as depreciation over a period of time.

I've been toying with this notion that money isn't everything. I think it is everything when you think about it. Name one thing you can do in this world (as an adult) where you don't have money? Want a family? Need money. Want to buy anything, attend school, run for office, senate or president etc. You need money. Money literally is everything and understanding/respecting it can help improve e ones position in life.

The B quadrant is still exchanging time for money. 😒 “The entrepreneur’s TIME is used to create a system to maximize CASH flow”
@TheBetterMenProject
Жыл бұрын
You could say that. Although is not a 1:1 exchange
@georgeodhiambo598
Жыл бұрын
No, that's not true. Robert Kyasoki explains it very well. You are only in the B quadrant, if you have built systems around your business such that its operations don't require your presence. If your presence is required, then you are actually an employee of your business and therefore that puts you in the E quadrant, even though you may mistakenly think that you are in the B quadrant! And that applies regardless of how big the business may be! When you are really in the B quadrant, you cease to exchange your time for money. From that moment, your business works for you.

@@lauromartinez8948 Why must you work for your businesses when you have set up adequate systems to run the business? "If your presence is required to run the business then you are an employee(E) of your business."! It owns you! Those are not my words. They are the words of the person who modelled the cash flow quadrant! Robert Kyasoki himself and I concurr with him. A B quadrant person who exchanges time for money is deluding himself.

Why greed? It doesn't take others remaining with less for an entrepreneurial individual to create more. Indeed a truly entrepreneurial individual makes more for himself as he creates opportunities for others to make more for themselves. Problems facing societies are solved in all the four quadrants. The bigger the problems that are solved, the more the society pays and the higher the rewards to those problem solvers regardless of the quadrant they are found in.
