Guess the Hype 4s are the best option for me. They seem like the best IEM around the 400 mark, and ive heard good things about it for music and gaming (which is what I need anyway). Thank you for your reviews, and especially for comparing each of them with other options.

Sound tuning overall very unnatural to me, bright treble kinda shortcut so called reveal the details not under technicalities at all. Shell is heavy and not ergonomic design not comfort to wear to me

Hey jay, Nice vid. Can you please recommend some IEMs as i am new this. My budget is just 25-30$ as i just want to test them out. My main purpose is gaming(valorant), music and watching videos. I also have sound sensitive ears, and sharp noise feels like someone poking my ears with needle. Any help is much appreciated. i shortlisted a few budget iems 1. Tangzu Wan'er S.G. 2. Moondrop Chu 2 3. Blon BL-03 Also, i currently had Hyperx Cloud Core which i never had problem in gaming with but for long hours, it causes fatigue. So will any of these earphones be able to stand any chance against those?

@@jayyaudio I don't think they compete against each other. One is true harman and the other is JM-1, the balance between the midbass/lower mid and the upper mids are very different. For most people they won't be interchangeable at all. I think it is going to be problematic to lump all "safe" tunings together as if they are alternatives to each other. There are multiple different ways of being safe.

I do like this review and have put this iem on my list. even though I am young(22) I don't have a lot of issue with treble I really liked my cadenza 12 and I like my annihilators (Not a treble head ). I like orchestral music with decent vocals. I am looking for a iem in my collection at every price this seems really good for that price gap.

so i accidentally washed my wan’er along with my shorts. so i need a new set. what’s a good upgrade to the wan’er. i was thinking a dos cinco cos it graphs similarly but i also had the cinco tres in mind. for me, the wan’er has decent low end punch. if i can get just a tad more punch and overall bass quality that would be good. i want better instrument separation than the wan’er offers. and i want more resolution. either i get a sort of $300 set to replace the wan’er or i’ll rebuy the wan’er to just have in my pocket again and i’ll buy a flagship. i have accepted that spending money is the name of the game so i’m ready.

I haven't had much luck with IEMS as I'm mainly a headphone user but wanted to get into IEMS for outside, not to disturb anyone with my music, I have purchased a couple of budget and mid-fi IEMS such as the Blessing 3, Thieaudio Hype 4, KiwiEars Quintet, Tin HiFi P1 Max, Tangzu x HBB Wu Zetian Heyday edition, none give me a good fit and have poor sound quality , I've tried all sizes in various ear tip materials and various brands, I can't afford anything over a couple of hundred $, maybe that's why I'm not getting good sound quality, I mostly listen to 80"s hard rock/heavy metal and was wondering what would be a good IEM match for my music that I mentioned that has decent resolution with imaging and soundstage, with good details but not too analytical, with good punch and slam but not overpowering boomy bass, mid bass with heft for heavy metal, with good vocal clarity and decent treble extension but not piercing an IEM that I can headbang to. I would love for an IEM to sound like a headphone with imaging, soundstage, resolution and all the other traits that headphones have, an IEM with sound quality that matches a decent headphone.
@ari-athbadminton0301
5 ай бұрын
You lose in soundstage with iem compared to headphones. If the very popular ones you've tried are not what you've been looking for it might be better for you to go the flat head route. Flat head have the disadvantage of perfect ear seal but bring the headphone experience into the pocket with a sound reproduction more open and airy. What was you're problems with blessing 3 and Hype4?
@rajeebdas1724
5 ай бұрын
Everything is possible except soundstage dude. That's obvious. Iems have better resolution than headphones in general. But soundstage? Impossible. Try the Ziigaat Cincotres or the Dunu Falcon Ultra. The only two I could think of based on your preferences. If you could go more expensive, try the Orivetti oh700vb. The Xenns Top could work too.
@robertobuatti7226
5 ай бұрын
@@ari-athbadminton0301 Oh thank you for that, I haven't heard about those but will try those Flat head ones and see if they are good fit for me, much appreciated. I found the Blessing 3 wasn't very dynamic in it's sound presentation, very sterile tuning and clinical with not much note weight or punch or slam, the hype 4 was alright for resolution even though they are a bit more expensive than the Blessing 3, they have the same driver count as the Blessing 3, being 2 dynamic drivers and 4 BA, even though the dynamics were a little better of the Hype 4 compared to the Blessing 3 the Hype 4 sounded okayish, but nothing to blow me away, if they had a bit better resolution with imaging, soundstage, micro detail retrieval but nothing too analytical but with a bit more slam to the tuning than for me it would be an endgame IEM, I don't need anything to be endgame with it's resolution or tuning like some of the very expensive IEMS set out there, but something that is decent for a mid-fi IEM.
@robertobuatti7226

@@rajeebdas1724 I'll look into those IEMS, thank you much appreciated, I'm kinda new to IEMS and don't know much about them, but yes soundstage in IEMS is not what you get in a headphone, but maybe it's just the IEMS I've tried that don't have a wide soundstage, I don't expect an IEM to be as wide as a headphone but decent width and depth for an IEM, an IEM that compares to a headphone in most categories of sound delivery, it doesn't need to be crazy expensive but something that is mid-fi.
