These grow only in tropical areas i think,I'm sri Lankan, the wood from the tree is one of the best timber, but we consider this tree so important because we make alot of food out of ripe and unripe fruits and therefore it's illegal to cut it here. The leaves are a really good source of nitrogen for plants, and you can even make tea out if it,and tastes exactly like green tea,and the seeds,do not throw them ,you can boil and eat them or roast them like nuts, the seeds can also be used to make chocolate,it's 70% exactly like chocolate.Honestly tho it's the tree that feeds the nation. Nice channel btw, liked and subscribed.

If you remove just peel the outer layer of skin, you can just twist the fruit right out. The yellow flesh is my favorite. The remaining white flesh is tough and fibrous, but if cooked down its a good vegan shredded meat substitute. The unused seeds can be steamed or boiled and can be used to fortify some dishes or eat plain! If you wrap the jackfruit in with some saba banana in spring roll wrappers, fry, then dip or top with caramel, you have a delicious Filipino dessert!

We use raw jackfruit for beef/pork stews. Perfect for extending/adding variety to your soups. It's my favorite! I'd go so far as to eat only the jackfruit, and leave the meat. And the seeds! When you cook it right, the seeds become transparent and lose their grainy-ness, fall off their thin shells and become such a delight!

Well I am in South Carolina and I probably have around 12 jackfruit trees. I’m actually growing them for our secret forest property land that is even further south. So I am going to just plant them next spring in this forest and let them go crazy! They can get up to 108 feet tall with over 100 pound jackfruit on them just to warn you and give you a heads up if you didn’t look into it on the Internet? But the one I’m gonna have in my yard is a grafted dwarf so it will only be about 12 foot tall and grow fruits that are like 12 pounds to 15 pounds

Canada has a huge successful Aloe industry, their experience might be helpful to you. Many cold climates glass green house ideas. Thermal States in America are growing citrus. Many dig deeper to gain a stable temperature and build up from there. Love learning from them all. We are in a Normal Grand Global Cooling Cycle causing more volcanic activity. We are seeing the beautiful pinks in our skies which are ice crystals in our lower atmosphere. Plan for shorter growing seasons and be prepared. I live in Florida and love Myers lemon trees perfect size for patio garden’s.
