Abundance of blessing to both of you. You were called to bring these prosfectives to light. Church is dated, timed and formed to people's ideals. I wonder what God want's. The Bible is road map for our journey here on earth. No interpretation dissecting or change. His word is Nul and Void. Ask him for understanding. And read.

This is a very important conversation that should be discussed in church...I remember when I was still young, those elders in church (mostly mothers) will always try to fund faults in us, judging us and condemning while their own children are wallowing in sin! Imagine going to church with fear.... The older ones need to do better while the youths needs to build up their faith so that they don't get shaken up by what they do or say

Great discussion guys... Another thing that can be a contributing factor is that members do not feel valued in their congregation...You see this a lot when you hold office in the church. When it is certain people program, everybody supporting but when its another person, its a set of excuses as to why they can't do anything to support you... sigh..Plus, on top of that, the same members will turn around and criticize you and ask to see creativity in the programs...🙄. Sometimes to protect your sanity, you have to walk away from the toxicity...

Both my children were raised in the church, went to Adventist day care then Adventist elementary to 3rd and 5th grade. They were avid pathfinder goers, then Pathfinder leaders, active choir members, drill team, drum corps, bible bowl, worship in the home, etc., etc. Now they left the church and one said they don’t believe in God. All I can do is continue to pray and continue to live my life as unto God 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. Let us continue to pray for each other that we will yearn for a relationship with the Lord.

Sin has taken over this world in such a way that sometimes even when you do your best, things don't fall into the plan that God had. At the end of the day, they're adults, and God gave us all the free will to make our decision. You did your best, now it's time to allow God to do the rest. Continue showing them the true love of God!

He said the same thing I have been telling my friends in Christ that they need to stop telling people not to question God. Allow them to question God to build faith, and then they will develop a relationship with God that trust is the center of it. When things are a little complicated, they will trust the spirit and do what he says without a doubt. I love this channel even though I am not Adventist, worship is unique and intimate, and I feel content like this helps Christians from all over the world to connect spiritually.

Exactly voiceless is the word. Young people love music if that's one way you can keep them in church and they are willing to be apart of it why not do that, not everybody want to sit and listen to preaching every Saturday or see the same person preaching. We are responsible for the life we live so if it mean that we are put our membership at this church but being there every Saturday make we feel sleepy let the membership stay there and find another sda church to go every other week if it makes sense smiling

You guys have taken a balanced view to this conversation which is admirable, it's not a my fault or their fault, it's all of us problem. I also like the idea that you've offered workable solutions, that's a plus. The truth is we've wounded our own soldiers (young people) by the words that we sometimes say and the things we sometimes do, many are crying and many are dying (spiritually) because they've been wounded so much today. Your channel is bringing hope. Keep up the good job guys.

Unfortunately, this is the reality right across different church bodies and denominations as the congregants who are the church don't really know how to truly love one another. Many people were brought up without it, faced a lot of judgements, end up not loving themselves as they see and dislike their own flaws. Consequently, they easily become judgemental of others and don't know how to give unconditional love as they don't have it in the first place, and have not truly sought how to attain that kind of love. It's a systemic issue and the church leaders really need to start focusing heavily on building themselves and their congregation up through creating cell groups that focus on different areas of ongoing self-development and so forth. Also, people need to draw closer to God and get to know Him as He is love. You can't truly know Him and not know and show unconditional love. It's time for the church to stop depending solely on the weekly sermons and stop focusing mainly on programming -- who is doing this and who is good at that -- and start putting people and their different needs first. I see many times where as soon as someone becomes a member and they realize that this person has a talent, they quickly push them into leadership roles and their spiritual and other areas of development suffer... No wonder people (not just the youths) are leaving the church. It's very sad...we should be representing God way better than this. I agree with all your points and as you can see, I'm passionate about issues like this one, just like both of you are but I have to stop preaching for now. I'm really impressed with your level of maturity and thinking on these issues, at your age (you guys are brilliant). Continue to hold on to God despite all that's going on and keep doing what you're doing on this platform. Best of all, keep praying for not only those who've strayed but also those who've stayed (just rhyming😄). God's blessings in all your endeavours👍🤗🙏
