This kale skillet recipe is so delicious I make it every day! Kale Potato Pan is a simple and super tasty side dish or vegan lunch or dinner. The kale with smoked tofu gets a lot of flavor and tastes really delicious with potatoes! In addition, this vegetable dish is quick and easy to prepare and very healthy.
Ingredients and preparation of the kale potato pan:
500 g kale
Remove the tough stalks from the kale leaves and chop into small pieces.
1 tsp baking soda (baking soda)
In this way, the cabbage cooks soft faster and retains its green color and most of its vitamins.
Cook for about 10 minutes.
500 grams of potatoes
Cut the potatoes into cubes of approx. 1-1.5 cm.
Cook for another 15 minutes.
1 pepper
3 tbsp oil
Fry for 3 minutes.
175 g smoked tofu
Fry for another 5-7 minutes (or until desired brownness).
300 g vegetable broth
1-2 tbsp mustard
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp sugar (I used brown cane sugar)
Bring everything to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes with the lid on.
Stir occasionally.
