Great video. I don't like the secondary market. I'm not so upset when they are buying one bottle, but I know flippers that have hookups and they buy tons of bottles, and no one else gets one. I lost out on a Marker's Mark Cellar Aged due to a store knowingly selling to a flipper and let them buy all they had. It's not good. They are increasing the price of whiskey overall

The only problem with flippers, is they tend to buy them all and as you stated it is part of the problem with shortages of goods. If a person can make some coin by flipping it..do it, but leave some on the shelves for others....as in all things...do in moderation.

If they do it that way, where they can only buy 1 or 2 before everyone else gets a chance to buy them, I have zero problems with it. If you're close enough to go to the store, you had your chance, and if you don't, you never had a chance at those bottles anyways. That being said, it's disrespectful AF to go put them up for sale from the parking lot of the store who didn't upcharge YOU for them.

Yeah, Purple tops have lost their luster pretty hard. A year ago I think flippers were moving a few bottles but each week the hype slows. Also the hype for stuff like that always slows during allocation/LE season. People willing to pay up for Willet are instead spending up for BTAC, Generations, 4 Roses LE, and ETC this time of year. Sadly... as that stuff drys up they move back to paying wayyyy to much on overpriced stuff like Willet. Oh well, not my problem. I am only 1 man and I can only drink so much whiskey. I find more rare stuff at MSRP each month than I can realistically drink anyway. Each month I find at least one or two bottles like Stagg, Midwinters, Bombergers, Michters Toasted, Octomore, Weller 12, or etc. Those few bottles each month plus the normal things like ECBP/Larceny BP/Russels Private Select are more than enough. I might kill 1 bottle a month unless I have friends over so the collection just swells and swells
