The density is already a nice touch, but what really makes this mod series amazing is the improved visual diversity - especially the plants that bring a bit more colour into the game. I mean, 6:33 making even Tundra biomes pleasant to look at. Loved these two recent videos. To me, mods that preserve the vanilla look are super important for replayability. The base game just gets visually too repetitive after a while if that makes sense.

You know I started a dedicated Project Zomboid server for me and a few of my friends and put a bunch of mods on there, and now I kinda feel like I've deprived them of something because they've never really played the base game.

I think a lot of people do that... they install what seems like a minor tweak to them, but its results hardwire into their whole approach and they'd be lost without it. (It's the main reason I never played with embrasures)

I am 90% sure the wooly stegosauruses are a reference to the artist Shaun Michael Keenan. He does amazing dinosaur art and one of his older pieces was a what if stegs where wooly image and uses the same color scheme as the one in the mod. I'm also sure that the saber-toothed squirrel is an Ice Age franchise reference. It is a shame that Wastelands wasn't up to date when you did this video though. Its another really cool addition that adds a new already polluted biome and several Fallout inspired critters.

10:50: I would've expected a saber-toothed squirrel to look more like Scrat from _Ice Age._ Feels like such a random decision if it's not an _Ice Age_ reference; it's not a creature idea I'd expect multiple people to invent independently.

ReGrowth has been a staple in my game for a long time. I love its vanilla feel and integration with DBH. They used have a Toxic biome and Mutated animals, but like you said, they haven't been updated to 1.4. The creator (I think) said he won't be updating them because they feel too far removed from vanilla, which I can't disagree with.

Those dinosaurs look pretty cool, but I sure am glad t-rex got meteored in real life though. I've been on an egyptian mythology thing lately, with geb the father of snakes and god of the earth, often depicted with a goose on his head?, or the red crown of lower egypt, and father of osiris, god of the deceased, and isis the goddess of magic and the moon. While we all know that sobek's lionen hunt won't lead to great fortune at least though. The primary creator and lesser known neith, bearing her war goddess symbols, wore crossed arrows and a shield on her head, and carried the was-sceptre, which were used as symbols of power or dominion, and were associated with ancient egyptian deities like set, the raven and the ram, or anubis, and with the pharoah. Patron goddess of the red crown of lower egypt, and said to be the mother of sobek. Osiris carried the crook and flail, the crook is thought to represent osiris as a shepard god. Not that they'd be as necessary literally at the water store, though some stranger types might require some extra attention on the odd occasion, and reminds me of me with my long neck and bein lionen, and wouldn't mind going with a crook and flail against a sword and shield, and if you're already expecting some types of people to renig on any made bets, in the time of sobek's fetid swamp, and not underestimate babi the baboon and water god, and advisors capacity for throwing shit, and if this man wears the red crown and this one wears the white, then all bets are off?, and he will take this crown and let this be this, and that be that, but know that not every serpent is a snake, and father a son, nor son a father. And when in heaven, and even the angels doth cry, what's bes supposed to do with a rattle? Groups, contracts, and debts don't entice me, but some social engagements can be nice on occasion, out of the frying pan and into the fire, as the crocodile can not help but swim and snap, and the devil always takes his dew.

I'm unsure if the blizzard graphic is actually effected by this mod, but you could try Perspective: Eaves, by Owlchemist to see if the blizzard no longer renders inside enclosed spaces. It does state that if an outdoor space is roofed, it will still render rain over that roofed area if it is not enclosed.

I ultimately found the added weather effects from ReGrowth to be kind of a nuisance so what I've opted to do is to download the biomes and use Mlie's _Choose WIld Plant Spawns_ mod to customize my biomes to be exactly how I want using whatever plants that are available to me in whatever biome I'm playing in. Since I switched to this method, it makes designing beautiful landscapes in any biome possible.
