Digs down and strikes oil! I had to dig a new hole for my mailbox with an old 2 hand post digger. Didn't mind until one of the handles broke and I had to finish with a garden shovel. I didn't have a post shovel but I do now. Have fun, can't wait to see the next video.

My goats stay in with the cattle. I train them in a fenced area about a month that's got 3 strands of hot wire. Then we move them into a 3 strand rotational pasture. My charger is 7 joule, they learn it quick! I've caught it a couple times myself, and it will sure wake you up.

Looks like you have good soil to dig in. I used one of them and hit a ton of rocks. It was a nightmare to use. it kept getting stuck on the rocks and we had to use a prybar to get it out. For your area it looks like a great tool to use.

Hi Dan, Those augers make it look easy for you. Rented one several years ago in Stillwater, to put fencing up for friend's wolf-dogs. Unfortunately, the ground around there is full of rocks, not small ones, and not very deep til you hit bedrock. Took us 2 days to put in 30 holes. Also that's not much workout yet for your sidekick. Lol

I got a post hole digger with my 32hp tractor, back in 2010, along with a brush hog and a box blade. I seriously have only used the mower. The tiller is too much trouble to attach. I can use a post hole digger faster than my dad can attach and use the dang post hole digger for our tractor. Plus, using a post hole digger is a good arm exercise. This stand-alone post hole digger is actually a good idea. So much simpler than the post hole attachment for a tractor. I still think doing it manually is faster, though.

You fellows seem nice and I comment with no malice, just concerns of safety. I saw some unsafe operation. You might consider editing out sweeping dirt away with your feet while the auger is turning. Scary to see you operating near a loose wire of some kind on the ground and sweeping your hand down to move the wire with the auger spinning. With a respect and concern.
