The panoramic shots of the arch and the beams of light are sensational, though I'd say 1 person in the frame is better than 2. I didn't see one without people in it. The way the foreground rocks are lit in that first pano is just great, and the beam hits the person; couldn't be better timed. Oh, and the animal voice-overs were hilarious.
@grat2010

With people in the photo, it's more of a story being told and it gives perspective to the size of the arch. Without them it's more of a pure landscape photo. So I guess it's what you want to convey.

You both make our day. We don't watch tv much at all anymore, even those commercials are unreal. We still often take showers in water/soap, wasn't that as designed already so many years ago now?...No all body stick deodorants for us, pretty gross. And the explanation on where to use it. Dinner -time. Really? Is anything real? Who comes up with this stuff?🤢😄 I agree with the posts below about your editing technique Gavin. Was already laughing pretty good and then the shot of the Puffin jumping so hard to land on the next, very close rock. I must name him Mike too.... Perfection. You both are a real treasure to keep track of. A laugh along with fantastic photography, it always just works! All the very best to you both. I would remove the people unless you really need them for scale which, in that shot, I don't think you do. Personally, I generally will remove any people or man made objects from my photos unless they are an integral part of it. Beautiful images as usual though and listening in on the puffins and gulls conversations was a hoot. Did you use a directional microphone for that?

That bird was the Simonus d'Entremontus, known for having wings, feathers, and a beak. Great sea arch shot, but you should have waited until a wave washed away the people,... or you could just Photoshop them out. You mentioned the toikets in House Hardcastle. If they dont have bidet functionality, you shoukd consider it. It's a game changer, a whole new lifestyle. Canadian government may not let you have the diesel-powered models, but regular water pressure should do nicely. Thanks for the video! Got my weekly fix of tresmendous photogasms.

Excellent voice-over on the wildlife 🤣. Looks like an Osprey to me on the stack. Interesting to see you using f20 on the long shot of the rocks in the distance, presumably so you can get the foreground sharp as well, but I thought you guys preferred focus stacking instead of using a high aperture? The bird is a juvenile gull, they start off that colour but once they discover their taste for chips! (French fries for your American audience) they change their plumage to a white colour to blend in with ice cream vans, there they can wait before diving for their prey. To be honest its a long way for it to be blown off course from Whitby so its probably an osprey.
