So I'm beginning to see a lot of angry people in the comment section, apparently this is not real lagos/Nigeria. I'm just going to make it clear here real quick, this is indeed lagos and this is my reality. A lot of people are just angry here that I'm not confirming what western media has fed them. I'm not saying that any news reports that you have heard about Nigeria is a lie, it is indeed a developing country and we have our struggles, however like many other countries in Africa we are so much more than the hunger and the mud houses that they constantly show you guys. We are everything that I have shown in this vlog alongside everything else and even more. I'm not going to go out of my way to look for things that validate your small minded beliefs. Smh. And can y'all please stop pushing this idea that only the super rich can afford the places and things that are shown in this vlog? It's just pathetic at this point. Some of you are referencing articles that you have read when you can't even point Nigeria out in a map.

Dimma Umeh THANK YOU. Lol my family is strictly middle class and your blogs are close to my reality as well. I hate comments from people who have never stepped foot in Africa saying "only the rich can afford to live like this" like lmao SHUT TF UP. I don't even know any actually wealthy people but they have decent houses like other normal people across the globe. It's not just mud huts or mansions, geez fucking Louise

This is totally "regular" Nigeria. Yes, it's still a third world country but it's definitely not as bad as media portrays it. For all of you small minded people, why don't you visit first instead of arguing blindly.

Thank you soo much for showing the world true Nigeria instead of what is shown in the us. They only show African living in mud houses, or living in dire conditions. You have so much to show the world because in the US we have no idea that Lagos is a metropolitan city. I was amazed that you were able to get a dress made so quickly. You have so much to contribute to the world even if you dont feel like your like is extravagant. You are put a country on the map to the world to see look we have clean water, technology and car. Nigeria is not a third world country that is often portrayed.

Hey guys! So I tried out jaracakes from over here in USA. I placed my order at about 2:30am (USA) and I was in contact with a rep until 3:40am. I didn't leave the apartment number or house number it should be delivered to though. When it was time for it to be delivered, I had slept off 😂😂 I woke up and saw missed calls and a message asking for the apt number. I had explained that I put up another friend's number for direct contact but I put it in the wrong place. 😂😂 But with all the wahala, these guys sorted it out while I slept!! I was very pleased with that. It was delivered to the right person and the surprise was not ruined! 😂 Check them out for real. Thanks Dinma for putting me on that nu-nu 😃

SapphyreVon Lagos is very cosmopolitan. It has the exclusive esquisite but also has the rough and get ready areas. Nigeria is big and diverse with a variety of languages, culture and even mix. You can go to other parts of Nigeria which can look remote, rural and undeveloped. Some areas are rich, contemporary and beautiful. So when and if you go, just take two minds - adventure and cosmopolitan....poverty and rich. I love my country born and live in the UK but developed and formed in Lagos, Nigeria.
