Harvest Right has a lay-away option. You lock in your sale price with a down payment (250 dollar minimum) you choose the Freeze Dryer you want, put it on lay-away and pay whatever amount you can, whenever you can. When you make your final payment, they ship it to you. I don't know if that helps at all, but I thought I'd share.

I did Keto for 2 and a half years before my cholesterol finally topped out over 350. I have NEVER in my life had high cholesterol. After that I also started cheating because nobody can keep their daily carbs below 50 for the rest of their lives. It’s just unsustainable. So, I now do the Eat Right 4 Your Type diet. It’s actually a lifestyle that is so much easier than Keto! If you know your blood type, just Google the diet and you will find lots of info on it. There’s also an app which makes grocery shopping a breeze. I feel even better than I did doing Keto and I can eat a much better variety of foods! Best of luck ❤

If you have adult children they will likely be around long after you're gone and would greatly benefit from all that freeze drying. Sweetie, positivity goes a very long way to keep yourself healthy with peace of mind as well. Just wise advice. I don't have a freeze dryer but i preserve nutritious & tasty food that lasts 3 years or longer with my less than $70 food dehydrator I purchased discounted from Amazon. I saved a few $ a week through the winter and early spring which made purchasing one so much easier. I hope you can do the same.

I love running my herbs through the freeze dryer and all of my veggies and fruits through the freeze dryer and powdering those up!! I'm only on my 21st batch because I just bought my freeze dryer this year but I'm having a blast! The best powder in my opinion is made from my regular garlic, my elephant garlic, and my green onions. Shch a punch of flavor!! I add some of that powder to my homemade mayonnaise to take it up a notch. Technically it's an aoli 😊 of course adding fresh dill and some pickles makes the perfect condiment for fish! Powdered fruits have also upped my buttercream game!! It's not easy making a gorgeous buttercream with fresh fruit without it breaking. I don't really like using emulsions and colorings & extracts anymore when I have powdered fruits. Honestly the best buttercream on the planet is one that you've made with your freeze-dried strawberries or freeze-dried peaches, bananas or blueberries! WOW! Harvest Right is a superb company and of course I'm trying all the candies and cakes as well😂

Ajvar, pronounced ai var - eye varr, is the most famous traditional Balkan side dish you dont go into the winter without - it is something we make in 100s of pounds for winter storage, next to saurekraut that could be possibly the winner by the amounts. It is extremly prized goodie. It can be described as red pepper pesto - with the exception that the peppers are ground into a ground beef like consistency. The grilling is best done on the wood burning stove, and cooking of ajvar for a long time on low heat makes the tastiest end product. Oh my, it is a dream!! It is usually, made with garlic, and or eggplant. Spread on a slice of sourdough and feta cheese on top, and also with some smoked pork jerkey - we would eat it for almost every meal, if allowed by adults, or if not we would do it behind their backs, hiding in the root cellar 😂.

I grew Ajvarski this year among many varieties. They are very long and still green. From the scarring on a few of yours they must like warmer, humid, longer growing season. We have approximately 135 days to grow in WI. I’m not sure they will get to the red stage. The plants did not get very tall. The green bells get tall here. I think if I grew again it would need a high tunnel. The seeds are from Baker Creek and may have been harvested in your area and another reason they do well. I didn’t get a chance to bag blossoms, but will save a few. The way the weather is we are almost at growing in a controlled environment. It’s been abnormally warm here and drought. The nest couple days we are under the heat dome and triple digits are possible as yesterday was 98.6 and last night was 71.2-that’s unusual for us. We’ve had such arid air all year like a desert. This morning the windows have moisture clinging to them and a sign that the dew point is very high. We may have a heat index of 117* today. Not liking this weather at all. We in cold country stay in most of the winter. This summer it’s because of air quality or heat. Freeze drying: sounds very easy. I recently heard from our dryer repairman to get a certain brand of appliance that would last 25 years😂 now you say the food lasts that long😂. We never know how long we will be here, but I looked at him and wondered just how long do I need an appliance to last especially at over a $4K price tag for a set 😂? I’m freezing everything so far this year. We have a fairly reliable electric grid and generator, but now I wish our new freezer-which I love-was a bit bigger. I’m surprised we have flats of produce sitting in the kitchen because of the awful weather this year and from a lot of watering and shading that I will need to switch to canning. I do like the Presto electric canner, but the process is still the same. Some can enough of one thing so they can skip it the next year-not sure but think you do that. It is work, but with the prices, quality and recalls I feel much better knowing where my food came from and how it was processed. We got chickens again after not having them for awhile. Do you process your chickens and if so do you have special equipment? My husband prefers to remove skin over plucking, but that’s where the flavor is. 😂😂we always say the same thing after fixing a meal😂😂. How much would this cost if we ate out?👍

I love this pepper my wife's family is Eastern European and they make a pepper and eggplant sauce to put on anything or in anything for a great flavor boost. Eastern European AJVAR (PEPPER AND EGGPLANT SAUCE). Google this and every single country has a version. I looked at about 12 of them and took bits a pieces of each varied amounts to our preference and there it is. This is based on the Ajvarski Pepper although any tasty red pepper will do if you do not have them. These are a sweet bell pepper type flavor.
