🔹Ingredients 🔹
For the baby:
✔Wheat flour - 300 g.
✔Baking powder - 1 tsp.
✔Butter - 120 g.
✔Sugar - 100 g.
✔Vanilla sugar - optional.
✔Salt - 1/3 tsp.
Curd layer:
✔Cottage cheese - 500 g.
✔Eggs - 2 pcs.
✔Sugar - 80 g.
✔Vanilla sugar - optional.
✔Corn starch - 20 g.
Fruit layer:
✔Peaches (nectarines) - 500 g.
✔Corn starch - 1 tbsp. l.
✔A pinch of love and good mood (required).
👉 The diameter of my baking dish is 22 cm
Preparation
✅We start by preparing the dough: add well-chilled butter to the flour and make crumbs.
✅Add baking powder to the finished crumbs and mix everything well.
✅Next, add salt, sugar, vanilla sugar (optional), mix everything again - the crumb is ready.
✅Now we make a curd layer: add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, starch to the cottage cheese and grind everything into a homogeneous mass.
✅Cut peaches into small cubes and mix with starch.
✅Pour 2/3 of the crumbs into the prepared form. I tamp it lightly with my hands, but not too much. Place all the cottage cheese on top. On top of the cottage cheese are peaches. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on top.
Place the cake in a preheated oven to bake.
🕒 Bake at t 170°C for an average of 1 hour. The exact baking time depends on your oven.
❗Notes ❗
✅I crush the bottom layer well with my hands and form small sides so that when cut, the pie holds its shape better.
✅The video doesn’t show that I put in vanilla sugar, I just suddenly ran out of it. I usually add vanilla to this cake to give it some flavor.
✅Adjust sugar to your taste, you can add more or reduce. With the specified amount of sugar, the pie will be moderately sweet, not cloying.
✅If the cottage cheese is dry, you don’t have to add starch to it; you can also replace the starch with 2 tbsp. l. decoys.
✅You can use other fruits and berries instead of peaches. If they are juicy, be sure to mix them with a small amount of starch or flour.
✅Before cutting the pie, it must be completely cooled.
