It always got on my nerves of the lofi label, for one, for one it's the reproduction of the sounds that define the lofi part of it, it still requires lofi tools like bitcrushing, noise(pink or white) or whatever, some of these tools are really overpriced and let's face it crappy production can do it for free! I have finally completed my collection of POs and somehow ended up with two new Arcades and two Tonics, I do purposely double up some synths, right now I have 3 craves, but I want 16, and 16 edges, I just ordered 3 more Behringer Brains now I'll have 6 mainly to replace Pico. I double up on O coast and ocntrl, I doubled up J 6s , it just works for me! I'm ordering the Muse and it will play with the Eurorack system plus accent the Motiff and Kronos, and Nautilus. Let alone all the desktops! My studio got robbed and destroyed, some of what I mentioned might not even work correctly, by an ex girlfriend, she destroyed my computers stole a bunch I hadn't even opened yet. I'm dedicating a KZitem channel to just songs for her! They will not be about love or respect, more about how much I wish she was dead! I'll do a serious channel or two as well. I plan on using the POs as state of the art sounds! I think the stigma of them will change! Peace! Changed my name to SatanDevil for that channel but the others will still be Rexcellencemagee.

Quieter drum hits behind the accents that give the groove some feel. I am sure this can be explained better but this is my basic understanding. For example if your bass drums are on the one have an occasional hit on the and before the two but make it quieter.

Its lofi bud tos not too lofi its actually not as noisey as alot of older high end samplers but its one of them samplers where boombap dnb and house are the only things that really sound authentic
@FreeBeat
10 ай бұрын
That's SUCH a narrow-minded view though. You can literally use this for whatever genre you'd like. Just because something is lofi doesn't automatically mean you can only use it for boombap, dnb, and house. That kind of view is what holds musicians back instead of moving them forward.
