Ceramics conservator Kirsten Ramsay is entrusted with another delicate task: repairing a Tower of London poppy from the 2014 WW1 centenary memorial. This relic belongs to Steph and her Dad, Pete, who witnessed the incredible sea of 888,246 poppies that decorated the landmark. Sadly, Pete was later diagnosed with a rare blood illness and passed away in 2017. A few months later, the poppy unfortunately disintegrated due to extreme weather conditions.
