I'm on that hunt for a proper side-charger! This may take the spot from the Bren2. Why in the F we still use back-end charging handles, pulled back to the shooter's face, after coming fully off target to manipulate....is beyond me (speaking from an AR perspective that is...don't get me started on left-hand friendly Aks...).

@@TopShotDustin Touche. How many MOA do you think it's able to do from the prone at 200m ..? And what's the effective range for it..? (Bc it's not quite as compact as is ideal for CQB imo). Thanks buddy. I really wish you did "visitors days" .. 👍👍👍👍

@@TopShotDustin the thing to bear in mind is that 2 1/2" groups means that the furthest impact was 1 1/4" from the center of the target and theoretically the point of aim. That to me means more than overall group size in most situations because we aren't shooting groups when hunting, ideally it's one shot and done. Don't get me wrong as I do agree that group size is important, but there are times that to much is made of it. Several years ago I picked up an old tang safety ruger 77 in 7 mag that looked like it'd been to hell and back, it had a slower than spec barrel as I recall it checked out around 11.25" to 1 and wouldn't shoot any hunting type bullets into less than about 4" at 100 yards. I fiddled around and came up with a load with the 140 grain Sierra flatbase that would do 3.5-4" and hunted with it just to see how critical those Itty bitty groups are for deer hunting... Turned out to be a rather boring experience, took two does out between 200-300 yards and the bullets hit so reasonably close to point of aim that I couldn't tell any difference between it and my half moa rifles...

I have owned a few cheap AKs and have mounted scopes on them including using a crappy B squared mount on my first AK, but at 100 yards I was getting fantastic accuracy and I only used a cheap Tasco 3 by 9 scope on both of them. If anyone is having trouble at 100 yards with an AK with their grouping, then either they suck at shooting, or something is causing their optics to not hold zero. Even at 200 yards my Romanian and Egyptian AKs that I had wasn't too bad.
@TZmayo

Looks sexy im ngl. However, at that price point, how does it compare to the galil ace in the same caliber? Its obviously built with quality in mind but does it surpass or at least meet the AK and galil in reliability? These are genuine questions.
