Love the bumpski - runski, you used it so well in this round. Why hit it high when you can hit it low and control it. Plus your putting stroke is looking great with superb speed control. Great camera angle on the first hole punch out. Well done. keep chasing.

I really enjoy these videos because your telling a story about your round and what the focus happened to be. I struggle with my short game and I really need to add the BnR to my repertoire. Another great video and another course i need to add to the list. Thanks Matt and looking forward to the next one. BTW, played the back nine at SJM on Sunday with my son (who played his first long course) and he out drove me on 18 by about 50 yards. That was fun.

Do you always use the same club for the bump and run or does it vary? Every time I do a bump and run it just flies off the face. Also do you use it out of any type of lie or do you only use it on a bare lie?

I use my 9i every single time. You may want to lighten your group a bit if it's flying off the face too much 👍. And yeah I use it out of most any lie.

I really enjoyed playing Redwood Canyon (visiting from San Diego). It's an exceptional value and I saw a deer on the course. Down here, we're more likely to see coyotes lol.

Also on practice try the 9i BnR with ball forward and also in back of stance. Little Different outcome on each.

Nice vid to showcase how it can help a lot. In my case I've only just come back to golf but as a junior I used my SW for absolutely everything inside a certain yardage. And 24yrs later I have been using my 60d for everything inside 80yards. I only just went on my first golf course though so practice wise it makes sense to stick to 1 club. But one day when I get more time I'll find a practice green and get a little bump and run matrix going 👌🏻 assuming of course I don't just become amazing with my 60d from everywhere 😅

I use Rule of 12 for bump and run as you can just make the same stroke with any clubs.

Course looks really good. It suffered from the wet winter. Your technique looks good on the bump and run. For fast greens just go to a 46 or 52 with the same technique. Good stuff.

BnR proved its worth out there. If you had to do it over again, do you think you could have just putted from off the green? I'm thinking #11 specifically. Great narration and video

If the opportunity presents itself to bring out the Texas wedge I do try and putt it. If the lie isn't good or if my putter can get caught up on something I just take out my 9iron. It is a little harder for long putts with an armlock putter though so.
