The term "filler" at this point is one of the most overly used buzzwords and phrases out there nowadays with regards to entertainment. I don't think people really understand it. At this point I see people use that term to describe being bored with an episode which makes no sense. Also, my favorite show of all time is Avatar: The Last Airbender which is notorious for having filler but guess what? That made it one of the best shows of all time because it gave you time to spend with the characters and see them develop through themselves and their relationships with each other. To be clear that works for shows like this because of how many episodes you get. This would not work for big scale television where it's 8 or 10 episodes a season. But since we are talking about Bad Batch and shows like Clone Wars that had that elongated style of like 15+ episodes per season you could do that. I get that for some people the idea of waiting weekly to see a new episode would make them feel that way but that was how it was with shows like Avatar. I just think people are too impatient to get everything at once. The binge model has really changed people brains into thinking that way.

Totally agree. Some of my favourite episodes are “fillers” because (to me) they tend to give more backstory, character development and world building. People either complain about “filler” episodes or complain about a lack of world building or character development without realizing they’re (sometimes) correlated. *Good* so-called “filler episodes” can add so much to TV shows.

@@Hellbilly709 I agree, but knowing how people treat everything these days it would not surprise me this is a much bigger complaint. If people can't accept the fact that this show is doing what so many other good shows have done to build characters and story then maybe they shouldn't be watching them.

Clone production started 10 years before Attack of the Clones. And the war lasted 3 years. That means the oldest clones are chronologically only 13/14 years old. Biologically they are in their late 20's early to mid 30's at most.

Another good reaction to another good 2 episodes. Yes, Christian...to me, there's no filler in this series...it's world-building and character sketching. (Rey wishes she had this kind of complex characterization.) As We know, Dave Filoni and his team don't write things that are irrelevant to the grand scheme of things...however, I would say that Omega being a female clone is VERY RELEVANT and VERY DELIBERATE (esp. with regard to The Kaminoans' motives in her existence). I believe she was created for a specific purpose...one that couldn't be executed by the male clones. Yes, Julien: The violence in this series is one of its best attributes. The juxtaposed two-way narrative view of the current life histories of Crosshair and Clone Force 99, during this particular time in the galaxy, is one of the most remarkable aspects of The Bad Batch. When you get to the end of Season 2, you'll find that this story is as dark as Andor; plus, it plants seeds that will be further depicted in the live-action branch of The Mandoverse. As always, good analysis, Guys. May The Force Be With You. BTW: I don't mind being called a Legionnaire, Jack. It sounds rather regal, in a military way. It's cool. 👍😊

Great! This is one of my favorite TV series! I would also really like to see your detailed reaction to the cult film Robocop 1987! Especially before the release of a new world game based on this movie. Do you have any plans to make a reaction to this film?🦾🔥
