Hi all, Ursus here. Just wanted to first of all say thank you for all the kind words about my pots! Then take the opportunity to answer some questions regarding buying, website etc. I am quite new to all this, and that I won’t try to hide. I’ve been making pots for less than a year, don’t have my own kiln yet, and reaching out to Darren was my first attempt at showing my work to more people. So unfortunately the only platform I’m active on so far is my Instagram, and have yet to set up a website/store or something like that. If interest in my work moves in the right direction I’ll update accordingly of course, but for now I hope that people want to join my adventures in pottery the same way you follow Darren in his endeavors, at least to start with. When my trees goes to sleep for winter my pottery will increase, and I will keep on making pots, for myself, for fun, for learning. Some pots I will make for myself, but the rest will be available to buy, but as of now the way to do that is by comment and/or send me a PM on my Instagram when you see something you like. Again, thank you all whom have given me positive feedback and comments both here and on Instagram! ❤️ //🐻

@@TheBonsaiZone Hey Nigel :) I've tried to ask on your videos as well as others: What do you do with old soil when you're repotting? Especially if there was clay that has broken down quite a bit. I'm curious if people are throwing it all on the ground, reusing it, composting it or maybe it's more likely a combination of all of these depending on the situation.

The making of a fabulous tree, hope all goes well. You've given it the best chance to flourish. I have a couple of Hemlock seedlings about 25cm tall, a very long journey to look like that, Thanks for showing us, can't wait to see the progress. I’ve followed Ursus pottery! and will be buying some items from them. It's good to see new enterprise, and I wish them well.

Awesome tree Darren! I like the natural look of those dead branches, it really captures how these trees give up on their lower branches when they don't get enough light. As you further develop this tree, I hope you can maintain that aesthetic. I also have followed Ursus, its nice to hear about new bonsai potters.

I've been growing bonsai for 2 years all from seeds and the one thing I've seen on KZitem is that no bonsai channel commits to good nutrient care for the trees. The soil you added to this tree has almost no nutrient value, the consistency is good for root growth but what nutrients do you provide? And how often?

Good luck with your big boy, hopefully it's going to put on some serious growth next year. It's going to be fabulous but will just need time. Nice to see helping out the startup pottery, hopefully the give away brings them so extra exposure and sales. The production is getting better but don't loose the charm of the lo-fi earlier stuff. You know the wacky edits and facial expressions, oh plus the nakedly highlighting of mistakes. PS not bothered by the ads if it helps you to keep creating content, who can complain for getting free stuff.?
