This one took a lot of effort. Really hope you guys enjoy it! **EDIT** After reading some comments, I see that I didn't do the best job ending the story... When Leo was in Poverty, he was motivated because he had to survive. But the reason why he was so successful in the Tourism company, and the reason why he moved up so fast, was because he was grateful to be in a position where he was NOT in Poverty, and he was not in danger. I Should have made that clearer, will learn from the mistake and make the next story better.

This doesn't happen often, so please read this carefully: After I watched this video, I immediately thought of my mom. She works so hard to put food on the table, and when she comes home she still cleans the house, makes me dinner, and makes the effort to stay awake just to hear how my day went. And me...I'm old enough to get a job. So you know what I did? All those classes I've been getting C's on, I studied secretly at night in my room. I went to the dollar store to buy some organizing materials. I watched KZitem recipes and tutorials and cooked for my mum. She was so happy when she got my report card, I bet your lips would curl upwards if you saw what I saw. She was proud of me, and I was proud to succeed in everything. My goal before this year ends is to be physically strong, slim, and empowering to others. You can do whatever you want to guys. You can tear down those barriers you THINK are untearable. Luckily, I finished highschool as a B student, and am going to college now. Witnessing my mom's tears plus the regret of not finishing highschool as strong as I could of; is filling me with ambition, that I wish I gained in my last years of highschool. I know what I need to do moving forward, just wish I'd realized my source of motivation earlier. This video is about understanding why we feel unmotivated. Every motivational video has a temporary effect on us and unless we understand why we do what we do, we can't expect the effect to last permanently. We need a purpose in life. That should be greater than us. I mean it's not just about earning money but to do something remarkable in this world before we die. This guy does a good job at explaining this to us. Once we have a purpose in life I don't think we would need to come back to KZitem for motivation. Our goal will give us all the energy we need. :)

How did Leo become grateful when he was NOT in poverty anymore? How can one person be grateful out of a terrible situation? Finding or knowing your purpose in life will be your main motivator for the rest of your life. Leo found his purpose first by being a responsible/loving brother and by being a tourist guide. He was motivated to work for the rich guy when he realized he has that talent/skill. Your purpose in life is where your passion will be and when you have that passion you don’t need to watch these random motivational videos. ‘Coz one trick might be helpful to one but not to others. Put your heart in everything that you do, even if you don’t see immediate results. Most of all have faith.
@ramaken

Thank you for another great video. After watching the video , I had a different point of view and perspective about Leo. Lately I have been listening to Les Brown and he constantly says the following words. " Do everything with all your heart and mind like if your life depends on it. Because your life truly depends on it." I believe Leo got the motivation to go through the books because he was hungry and his life was on the line due to this chance. We should all carry the mindset of doing everything with all might because like Leo , everything WE NEED to do. Our lives depends on it.

I was very poor back 2003 and was setting at home doing none !! Till friend of mine called me and he suggest to me and him go look for work in one of the army bases as interpreter for $10 a day of 8 hours! Their I met somebody was working there and he asked me what I know as a hobby !! I told him I play guitar piano but not that good !! He then said come tomorrow morning at sheiratoon hotel I will introduce you to my boss he own radio station! I then went to the hotel and met the guy and his boss, then his boss asked me if I can make 6 one min audio ads for M&m, Marc’s, bounty etc,.. within a week only, I was very happy and took a bus to the music store and rent small keyboard and went home and finished all of them in 2 nights ! I called my friend I told him I am ready! He came to take me to his boss, his boss was laughing ( are you sure!?) I told him yes sir ; listen -- he then smiled and immediately hired me as a manager to the producing dep and within a year I bought my first small car! Then At the station I met sombody in the gov playing PSAs ads in our radio and when he saw me he suggest to sign a contract with the GOV and make subcontracts with all radios and TV in the city and within 3 years I bought 3 homes cash and after 5 years my contract ended but now I own 7 rentals homes all paid in cash, also 500k worth my own home with all real stone and marabl flooring with pool and spa, brand new f150 and another small car also gave my mother 200k and another 250k to my brother ! Married 10 years a go and have 3 kids ! My life was like dream from bad to good then now to more responsibilities toward the family, work, problems with relatives etc... each part of the life have its good and bad! Sometimes I was I get back to my 20s and don’t have all these problems and responsibilities and just play like what Inused to do back the days!! Not all the life and the money are nice !! Remember if you get the money you may loss something bigger !!! And you will wish you have no money !! Just my 2 cents

Majority, but not all, there are successful people that didn't have hard pasts, and there are unsuccessful people that have hard pasts as well. Just because someone has had a hard past doesn't mean they will be successful in the future. It all boils down to your attitude and your goal in life. Why do you work? Why do you strive for greatness? Why do you wake up everyday? Why do you exist? The people that are successful don't necessarily come from hard pasts, but ALL of them have an important "why" that they would never trade for anything in the world. That's why even though Elon Musk can retire with his billions, but chooses to push the boundaries of modern technology, because his "Why" is: He wants to push humanity and be on the forefront of technology, in order for humanity to progress further and becoming an intergalactic civilisation. That's why builds Tesla and SpaceX.
