The neosho strain smallies are odd looking. Nice job and great fish for it's strain. Where I'm from in MN a 20 inches is pretty common to catch and it would weigh nearly double.

It’s a Yeti Panga 28! It’s a great waterproof wading bag. I added some caribiners to hold my rods. My buddy Monroe has a badass setup. He added a frame with rod holders made out of 1 1/2” schedule 40 foam core pvc. adds maybe 5lbs to the total weight. Right side has the ketch board track mount holder also. It’s pretty legit haha

Current River at The Log Yard was one lol.. Always RVs on the gravel bar. Gets super crowded at times and dumbass locals getting drunk treating others as OUTSIDERS. Some of them are really obnoxious.. I tend to go during the middle of the week.

Silly to not name the river. Its common knowledge what rivers have what. And where to go. I've fished the James twice and will return this summer. That one is not wadable.

I appreciate you watching! I understand your frustration and feel the same about other KZitem videos I watch. I get a surprising amount of hate for these river videos from locals because I am “blowing out spots” even though I don’t really ever share locations. I understand where they are coming from. I would hate to be a local fisherman and then someone from out of town comes in filming and publicly shares really good spots. I am on Instagram and Facebook and would more than willing to share river names. My main intention with these river videos is to inspire people to get out and explore. I don’t mind sharing privately where I take trips if that means more people getting outside! I’ve fished the James a handful of times and definitely want to return. There’s good fish there but I don’t think I’ve been in the prime areas. Super fun river though! I have been busy the past couple months but planning on starting back up on KZitem videos this spring! Thanks again for the comment and good luck out there this year!!

@@Tyler_BartlettI use to fish the James all the time. We would go at night to fish for goggle eyes (rock bass). We’d crush’em by using a top water jitterbug. They’re a great fish for fish fries. They’re not a big fish but the bones would dissolve in the hot oil. It’s a pretty tasty fish too. Btw there are many other rivers in southern Missouri. I floated just about them all. Besides the one in the video. The Black, Eleven Point, Big Piney, Gasconade, Roaring River, just to name a few. You should check them out!
