Love these two. They're so wholesome and fun. That lamp was beautiful. Functional and elegant. That's wonderful to have a store that is so involved in the local community. I hope these types of communities continue to evolve all over the world. Communities thrive when governments dont interfere.

So great to see you guys! I'm in Ohio and have been to Lehman's a few times and it's a beautiful store. I haven't checked in for a while because I've been doing site work for my homestead, yay!!!!! After 20 years of owning the land I'm finally building. They break ground for the foundation the week of January 17th. Once I get settled I'll be glued to your channel. Have a blessed Thanksgiving everyone!

I recently saw a Lehmans tour from a couple of years ago. I am an Observant Jew. On Shabbat we do not turn lights on or off--if they are off, they are off, if on, on. In addition we light "candles" 18 minutes b4 sunset. I use votive (fancy holder) with 100% Olive Oil (animal oil not appropriate, other oils, not as holy). The small votives/oil last nearly all night and are very calming, which is what our day of rest is for. Thank you for reminding me of Lehman's--Jewish owned and designed for the Amish--I have an Amish (former) son in law! Eventually we all cross paths, no?

I know they are advertised as such but those compost bins actually do attract fruit flies bc I have one lol. The key is to add lavender (any essential) drops to the filter, once a week or you'll have maggots on the inside of the lid. Also want to clean out and dry after every dump to avoid corrosion on the pail.

I go crazy with Lehman’s catalog. Can’t I a fine if I was inside the store. I love their hand washing machine. I have had it over a year now. I know my neighbors wonder why I am using it instead of my electric washer. But it’s fun and you get fresh air while doing the wash. And great exercise agitating the clothes. But it is. It hard to work it. It really cleans the clothes. Highly recommend.
