Hey Craig and Jaz - loving the Mexico Vlogs as I used to live there and CrossFit Fibonacci was my first ever Box! (Used to be called CrossFit circus) The owners and coaches Luis and Lea are amazing people amd great athletes - Luis has qualified for the game’s this year in the masters division so would love to see you do a feature on them or go head to head with Luis or Lea in a WOD!? #wedontquit

Poor Jaz, she looked like she was suffering thru the heat but smiled thru out during her workouts. Thanks for sharing your workouts and adventures in Mexico. You are both legends too! Could you explain a bit more why doing certain % is better than say 100%? How is it better for the body or is it for the mind or both? I'm working only with dumbbells due to limited space for storage I have in my truck. I drive an 18 wheeler in the US.

Hard to say if heat or altitude is "better". Both provide cardiovascular benefits but require exposure likely lasting at least 2-3 weeks before any real adaptation takes place. Increased plasma volume is certainly an altitude-related adaptation, never heard that about heat (that's cool!). Like you said Craig, heat stress absolutely improves heat tolerance (via heat shock proteins). The downside of training in both heat and altitude is that they reduce your exercise capacity, hence the "live high, train low" philosophy followed by many elite endurance athletes.
@juliocesarsalazargarcia6872

How exactly do they apply that philosophy "live high, train low"? Do they commute 1000m up and down every day?

Sooo fake a channel, no women laughs and smiles as much in real life as Jaz does in the videos. But still here most to hear that laugh. :-) Would be fun with a video about the “old” bodybuilding times Craig some photos and why the shift and how the traning was then compared to now. Keep it up you are both legends
