I have a theory. When the slow motion kicks in, the camera zooms in, which means less of the screen is showing, which decreasing the range of your homing move as Yoshi's db3 moved him out-of screen during his spin. It is not because of the slow motion but because of the zoom-in feature that happens during the slowmotion.

This is a fascinating, if bizarre, hypothesis because as far as I'm aware (I'm not an expert!), devs don't program collisions to be dependent on the camera. Animations are also not usually calculated in "screen space". It's definitely worth debugging if you want to dig in: I recommend installing Universal Unreal Engine Unlocker (UUE5U) and testing your hypothesis. Maybe dump some objects from memory and see if you get any useful data about hitboxes or geometry? (Or you could install Unreal Engine and try to recreate what you're describing using simple cylinders?)

sounds weird huh so you mean slow mo pushed jun backward. it seems like a regular clipping and the hit box was off for a sec

Wasn't it very similar with wake up 4 a while ago. The kick would push the opponent away instead of hitting. I guess they fixed it and created other problems....

i saw somthing similar with asuka vs hwoarang last pixel both asukas d3 crushed hwoarangs rightfoot forward df4 which is a mid and frame trap but asukas d3 went under usually it doesnt happen

For all the example i've seen so far, the " dodging character " was *backturned* while attacking. It's like there is no " Hurtbox " in the back of some characters. ( like the cylinders aka hurtbox was " inside " the *Collision Spheres* so it makes impossible for the game to Detect the hit. : kzitem.info/news/bejne/uJ-juKGDpGdhdG0si=XoEcsA1o_hywCE-E&t=415 if i'm right we might be able to reproduce this as long as the " Dodging character " is doing an attack slow enough to trigger the slow motion and also needs to be " backturned " ( 360° attack for example ) to dodge the attack. ( Also The player 1 need to Aim for that "colonne vertebrale" zone

Its a bit unrelated but its so annoying when slowmo kicks in and nobody dies, they should fix this too.
