There were some Japanese tourists at one of my local fishing spots. I had a really good day and caught over 40 bass in a little over an hour. Every time I had a fish on they ran over to watch and every fish I landed they would shout and cheer and absolutely lose their minds. Knowing how hard bass fishing is in Japan it all makes sense now.

Such a cool channel. I was so close to visiting Japan one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit Asia.

I’d be like a kid in a candy store❣️💘 if I went there, I’d get stopped by customs coming back due to setting off the metal alarms with all the hooks on all the baits I’d bring home ❣️💘🤣🤣🤣

I just had a Japanese guy hold my bass yesterday while I grabbed my phone for a picture. I told him they didn't really have any teeth and he held it just fine. He had his friend take a picture of him holding it up too. Whenever I fished the University I would have groups of Japanese people standing around watching me fish it was a big thing. I wonder if that owner of the shop was a big Michael Jackson fan?

This is actually amazing omg. The aesthetic of the store, the warm feeling and just how cramped and small it feels and looks so cool( which for a tackle shop, being cramped and small, for me at least is the best type of tackle shop)

Need more tackle shops like this in the US-I know there are some around, but nothing like they once were. I used to shop at this spot in Austin, TX off Toomey. Rd. where one side was a RC hobby shop, other side was fishing tackle. The owner was knowledgeable and very hospitable.

Cool video … I know they like the old ( 1980s) Shimano's & Lews . But didn’t think they liked the old ABUs. I know here in the US there are many collectors. In my reels I still use some of the late 1970s ,1980s reels. They bring back cool memories . You said you couldn’t buy that Bass colored lure. Too much $$ or ???
