If there was any doubt about your tech skills, that first section of trail killed that noise. Outstanding riding, DD, when someone with your ability has to encourage themself through tech, you know it's a tough trail.

You got to keep the videos interesting so you usually should cut out the climb, but there is a LOT of climbing in BC, a lot of it being just boring steep gravel roads.

I did! Rode trials for about 16-17 years then stopped near the end of 2015. Only get out one or two times a year on the trials bike these days.

Judging by the light spots from gaps in the canopy I think it was quite dark! EDIT: He also says lower he was riding by first light.

This was last June i believe. Right in the middle of the heat wave so i was riding by first light (hence the dark and grainy footage). Definitely getting shaky. I pushed up it so i could inspect before i descended. Needs quite a bit of love.

When you look back after you land something it was hard lol Damn i wish i could ride North shore. It looks and reminds me of my first trials race. I placed 2nd and the owner of EWR bikes was there and after the race he asked if i would ride for him. It took me a sec or to answer him and he thought i didnt want to ...lol i was dum founded as he handed me the jersey and said hells ya! Never made it super big but it started a long and fun cycling career

This trail is no joke. Rode the top half last year. How is the transition on that really steep wooden roll over the stump in the beginning? It was the one feature I couldn't quite work myself up to try. Always look forward to your videos!!!

The transition is fairly abrupt, but what makes it more challenging is how sharp the edge is when you drop in. Take a look at the thumbnail pic I used for this video and you can see how sharp the angle is between the boards going across then down the stump. I was scared of hanging up on my bashring, so I drop in almost like it's a quarter pipe. This adds more momentum and makes the transition at the bottom seem harsher than it is. Definitely a high OTB potential.
