I noticed that when you use a yeti bottle long enough the o-ring will start to deteriorate and become a little bit sticky especially when you use it with hot water, but once you replace the o-ring it becomes easy to open again

Great breakdown. Lot of good points, like the width narrow enough so it doesn’t hit your leg while walking.

I got mine a while back and at first when I seen the pictures i didn’t think it was gonna be that big. When I seen it in the store I kept debating wether or not to get it so after checking with my mom to see if she’d be mad if I got it she wasn’t mad but boy was my stepdad angry. I really didn’t think how much of a benefit it’d be to have a ice pack along with reusable ice cubes cold with my tea. It’s an amazing bottle the only bad part is if you leave the liquid in it for more than a day it starts to mold but it’s a easy clean but it is an amazing bottle or jug. I’ve put tea in mine, might put a gallon of milk in it but I’m definitely not putting any soda in it cause it’s not safe but when I go crappie fishing which will be very soon I’m gonna bring it with a gallon of hot chocolate. I could go on for days on how much I love my gallon jug I actually nicknamed mine “Big Gollastists” overall it’s just an amazing way to have cold or hot drink. And it stays really cold for days. I haven’t tested how long it’ll keep something warm tho

I use it to transport soup. Much safer than using a pot.

Great video! I like all the details nobody else talks about. I am on the fence about spending $130 but you're right, yeti makes you want to buy more product.

When I heard "Why Yeti, do you think you're Apple?" @ 8:07... LOL, well done, gave a thumb's-up and subscribed. The best part was @ 10:42 till end, which is why I am now ordering the yellow and black one from Dicks Sporting Goods. Currently on sale for $104, just 2 colors, rest are $130 million, as usual. Anyway, thanks man! 🙂

Yeah I’m buying one to keep nice in my truck for re fills. I drive equipment all day and I have a 36 ounce yeti I’ve had for years and it’s in terrible shape but it’s perfect for work. The only complaint I have with abusing it is that I keep breaking the lids which is fair

How in the world do you open the lid. This thing seals tight every time I use it. And I only use it with water.

Try taking off the cap then unscrew the top. What happens is that it pressurizes and you need to release the pressure to take off the top👌🏼

Found one in a ditch and free but found out might need a new lid… free but still cost something

Compare it to the Ozark Trail sold at Walmart for much less money. Which one has ice after 3 days ?

The stupid thing about that screw is that you can just cut a slot in it anyway and tighten it like a flathead - so whats the point in making it so weird in the first place
