@@plowe6751 Didn't you just say sum people have low stomach acid problems, where they can't get nutrients from food? It's the same with the tablets or pills. Injections are the best way for them.

Only vegans need supplements because their "food" is not bioavailiable, and fiber blocks absorption. You can get all your B12 from meats, fish, butter, and eggs as it in the form the body can recognize and comes with other nutrients that enable b12 to be utilized. Spending all kinds of money on supplements says your not eating the optimal diet, and that your choice in food is depleted, blocking absorption, or creating absorption issues such as anti-nutrients like phytates and oxalates.

If your stomach doesn't produce enough acid you could become B12 deficient as well as iron deficient (anemic).

@@wrenisme You can rebuild your stomach acid with a hydroclhoric acid supplement, even apple cider vinegar can help, but ideally eating meats will give you plenty of B12 because its more bioavailiable then plants.

Not necessarily. Some people overmethylate and it makes them very sick. I have the experience.

I take cyanocobalamin shots because my body does not absorb B12 from food properly. I've read research that indicates cyanide is naturally occurring in small amounts in some plant-based foods, and the amount of cyanide in B12 is even less than that. I'd encourage anyone to look into it on their own, however.

What about those of us who have pernicious anemia and can’t absorb it BUT only take injectable cyanocobalamine? Is there an injectable B12 that is one of the safer types??
