9:57 *Exactly* right, and a terrific point. 🌟 And you’re also so dead-on in telling ppl that “2 weeks is not a stall.” It very often isn’t, it’s usually your body adjusting to/processing the weight-loss you’ve already done, so that it can get prepared for further weight-loss. FOUR WEEKS is a stall. 📆 Yet, ppl can freak over even ONE week without weight loss. This is not a wise long-term mindset, and will stress you out. 😱🙀 Finally, ppl should be aware that the MORE weight you’ve lost, the SLOWER the weight-loss will become. If you’re already down 40, 60, 80, 100 lbs, and have been on the meds for 6-12+ months, you *can’t* really expect the same speed of weight-loss that you experienced early on. Why? Because you body FIGHTS.BACK against weight-loss (it thinks you’re *starving/dying* 😯), and it fights back HARDER the MORE weight you lose. It increases your hunger, and it slows your metabolism some. The meds can offset the increased hunger to a good extent, but still, between THAT and you now being in a significantly SMALLER BODY that burns fewer calories, you’re just NOT going to be in as large a calorie-deficit as you were before. 🤷♀️ So, if you’re far enough along in the process, your WL may be 1 pound a week (on a good week), 0.5 lbs/week, even 0.25 lbs/wk. And while this may seem slow, it’s kinda not. It’s just how weight-loss works at that stage of the process. ✅ Best to you Elizabeth, and we really do wanna see intrepid doggo Mr Freddy at least once in awhile. Peace and grace. 🙏 ✨

You could be building muscle if you’re exercising, especially with weights. That’s a good thing because the more muscle you have the more fat you’ll burn while at rest. And muscle is more dense than fat. As long as your measurements are decreasing, you’re good.

⚖️⚖️⚖️Thank you for all you do for all of us who follow your journey!!! I agree with taking photos. I was fit and “hot” back when I was younger. I’ve never liked having my picture taken but really made sure it didn’t happen after I had my second child. I’m now taking pics like after I work out or if I just feel really good I’ll take a selfie. I can totally see my progress. I too lift weights and do strength tracing 3 days a week at a gym that is coach led. I live when I’m done but it’s still hard for me to go because it’s such an intense work out. But….. my coach tells us that we’re still burning calories 36 hours after our workouts! Now that’s motivating. I’m starting to see some signs of definition. This is so exciting. I want to have more fun with my partner too !!!! That has been a huge struggle for me. 💪💪🏋️♂️God bless us all. I by the way have the tape measure like you. I love it !! ❤❤❤

I’m about 1-2 months behind you, lost 76lbs with about 35-45 lbs to go. I’ve been stalled or shall I say I bounce around. Beginning of week after shot, start going down 1-2 lbs and by end of week, back to about were I started. I’ve been at this bouncing up and down for about mid to end of April, but have inched down about 3-4 lbs 6-8 weeks. I am not at highest level, now 10 mg but don’t want to get to top yet since I have lbs to go. You are so right though to focus on the other “wins” than just the scale. First of all, I try to practice in my mind how great full I am for the loss I’ve had. The ease in my movements, not graceful, but certainly up the stairs, in and out of the car, feeling lighter that I find myself dancing around if I hear a song, not feeling sooo tired with long day and wondering why… so great full! Need to remember that. My husband and others complimented me on a dress I put on that I thought I got rid of many years ago because I never thought it’d fit but found it as I got rid (donated) so many clothes ( another win). The dress isn’t anything special but a tee maxi dress but cut close to the body. It now fits my curves perfectly and my belly, although skin wise is there, but not showing. Really felt good. Interesting for me, as I’m going to be 56 next week, I had conversation with my obgyn and am planning to start hrt meds. Now I’m not doing for weight issues, but for a few other concerns. She indicated that with these meds may actually help with stall as basically my body will be working more efficiently. This may be beneficial for others to hear if contemplating hrt meds but obviously a discussion to have with their doctors. ⚖️⚖️⚖️🌸💜🌸

⚖️ Today I am moving myself towards my goal by remembering that things are not all or nothing. Historically I have been totally “on plan” or totally “off plan”, so if I didn’t eat well on a particular day that meant that I also didn’t work out, drink my water, etc. Not today though! I have plans to go get sushi with my daughter, and since my appetite suppression is low I will probably end up indulging a little. However, I went ahead and got in a workout this morning so that I am at least doing something to contribute to my health. And I watched this video as I did my makeup!

NSV, using clothes dryer. I can finally dry my clothes - pants and shirts. I don't have to hang dry because my clothes NEED TO SHRINK. Of course, I still hang-dry bras to protect the elastic, but let's face it, I just need to buy smaller cup sizes as a result of my zep/compound journey. By the way, I'm stuck in jeans forever. Dermablend didn't cover spider veins and stretch marks. That's a sad part...even when I get to goal, shorts and bathing suits are out. But looking good in jeans, I look forward to that.

⚖️⚖️⚖️…. My goal today is trying to calm my stress and anxiety. Focusing on not to emotional eat is difficult. My niece just started radiation for metastatic breast cancer and tomorrow 6/22 will be one year since we lost her father(my brother). Tough times here! So taking a few minutes to concentrate on quiet time and my breathing to reduce the emotional anxiety is so much a part of overall good health. Thank you for redirecting this video from the amount of weight loss. It’s not always about the number and we can’t always have the number be the judge of our health and happiness. Blood work is a must have. When we do reach a goal weight we have to be confident we have this change down and not have to keep relying on the scale for reassurance. 🩷🙌🏻
