Well, also wool/dung is excellent compost, use it like manure. In the garden,in the fields, filling in your ruts or wash aways from floods, its all natural. Best tomatoes on garden, I’ve ever had. B

You could try acetone (nail polish remover) to get rid of glue.

Acrylic thinners will break the glue down. There are many other things also but they are much nastier to use.. Some are cyanogenic so avoid these eg. Methylene chloride. You’ll be able to buy Acrylic thinners from any place they sells motor vehicle Acrylic paint products. Supercheap Auto in Goulburn will carry it.. It’s also an excellent cleaning agent when your re-gluing..

The other point you made regarding the price you get particularly per Kg for meat. We simply can't fight Coles and Woollies or the overall supply chain.. This is one of the drivers behind direct farm sales. I don't know about the legalities or costs of dispatch, butchering, storage and sale direct from the farm gate but there are a good number of farms now doing just this.. Unfortunately we only have 24 hours in a day (you just can’t do everything).. Maybe a strategy to increase your farms per Kg Meat value would be to partner with a local butcher, or maybe you have a girlfriend/wife/family member who would like to start a business!! Essentially selling direct..

Where glue is concerned my first go to is eucalyptus oil. Sometimes you need to let it soak in for a while. You do need to wash well with warm soapy water after using the eucy oil otherwise the next emery paper wont stick.

Well, read all commentaries. Your Merino sheep are cared for. But, several other KZitems, sheep are 3 x times thicker, easier. Your sheep are wilder, spread out, much thinner. Ut you have the biggest volume by far. Even Scotland/Ireland sheep are thicker. Just maybe different continents???

Yes, to remove glue… there is a cheap product called “glue be gone”. Just make a hot nail hole in the top… then squirt a cap full onto this whole lid, wipe and all is new again. Aceatone almost works, glue be gone will last maybe a decade for a 1/4 pint, cheap, cheap. Still using my Dads. Smells like flowers, but doesn’t take my skin off. B

Hi mate. Loved the update. Maybe a heat gun to soften the glue before you peel?

wool is too light to sell by weight lol just saying. I use mine because we can't get much for it. We don't have merino or much left. The dorset has taken over.

We have also seen issues with over supply for lamb ( everyone want to produce more aswell as hook space. A little better now with rain. Hopefully On the box or Fivestock can help producers
