During a break Thom Brennaman uses a slur didn't realize the mic was on and the camera was rolling. Later in the game he apologizes and begs for forgiveness

If that faith is Bible-oriented, there are parts of that book that proscribe being a het and not being in bed with "same." So he's basically excusing himself on religious grounds mid-apology. Such faith and attitudes (perhaps/probably) were very necessary thousands of years ago when we humans were constantly on the verge of going extinct due to not enough of us being born, and too many of us dying before we reproduced. Now, it would seem, it doesn't matter who is in bed with whom, because if anything (we're being told) we're on the verge of going extinct due to too much reproduction.

@@tarico4436 Or God has a plan for human behaviour regardless of perceived utility. The New Testament explains this in several places and not once is population growth the issue. Monogamous heterosexual marriage is a picture to the world of the redemptive relationship between God and humanity. This is shown by the man using his authority to submit to Christ and to love and protect his exclusive wife, who in love submits to him as well. Anything outside of that mutually submissive relationship destroys the image.

@Jon Dough Someday, maybe, you’ll understand why people apologize and make amends for things they didn’t get caught for. You might have told yourself that you’re living your life without regrets, and brother let me tell you, when the guys that say things like that reach middle age, they have a boatload of regrets. And you’re probably too young to understand how regrets weigh on you. You apologize and make amends when you’ve hurt someone, even if you didn’t get caught. You do it for yourself as much as the other person, and you shouldn’t expect forgiveness. If you’re lucky, you’ll figure out what I’m saying sooner or later. We’re none of us perfect, but we can learn to admit our shortcomings and change them. Beating your meat while fantasizing about your mom’s friend probably didn’t hurt anyone (depending on how rough you were). Feel free to keep that between you and your penis and God if you believe in one that cares about masturbating.

@@ynotttt well I mean there are much more pressing issues in America than Cancel Culture... increasing wealth gap, decimation of the middle class due to corrupt corporations (and their lack of regulation), the fact that health insurance in your country is a joke, the deep seeded violent nature of your culture and how poorly that clashes with your abundance of guns, your obsessive and patriotic imperialism that has destroyed many nations, poor education and underfunded primary institutions (especially for a first world country with the largest GDP)... but hey, atleast your military is big, because that's the most important thing /s However, if we are going to talk about Cancel Culture, then I agree, Conservatives should really stop trying to cancel everything, but then again being the 'anti' party, I guess that is their entire goal... anti women's rights (vote, abortion, etc.), anti video games, anti any type of art that isn't utilitarian, anti 'devil' music, anti drugs... I could go on for hours but I made my point.
@ynotttt

@@Cosmic_Cretin .....a lot of your points are correct. Donald Trump represented the repair of a lot of those negatives. What cancel culture is doing is erasing all history, values, freedom and liberty so many generations fought and died for. Re-writing history. Creating a wedge between the have and have nots. Creating a false narrative of racism and white Supremacy at the expense of a democratic system while creating policy that is actually racist. The very few that are promulgating this gain financially at the expense of the masses. We just got done with a worthless 12 month lockdown that cost 6 trillion dollars. We had a corrupt election that resulted in our energy independence being handed over to our adversaries. We have a stampede at our southern border that’s endorsed by our President and his administration. We need Donald Trump back in a hurry. He had this country running like a Swiss watch.
