In unserer aktuellen Ausstellung „Elementare Gefässe. Eine andere Erzählung der Moderne“ trifft vieles aufeinander. Japanische, koreanische und westliche Keramiktraditionen, aber auch Oberflächen, Formen, Farben, Materialien und nicht zuletzt Objekte und Räume.
Hier sieht man eine Schale von Thomas Bohle vor unserem Haus Lemke, gebaut von Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Im Innenraum befinden sich vier Gefässe von (links nach rechts) Shuroko Harada, Ichiro Hori, Machiko Ogawa und Kenji Gomi. Diese Staffelung gibt eine Idee von der Vielzahl an Eindrücken, die man in unserer Ausstellung finden kann.

In our current exhibition “Elemental Vessels. Another Narrative of Modernism” many things meet. Japanese, Korean and Western ceramic traditions, as well as surfaces, shapes, colors, materials and last but not least objects and spaces.
Here you can see a bowl by Thomas Bohle in front of our Lemke House, built by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Inside are four vessels by (left to right) Shuroko Harada, Ichiro Hori, Machiko Ogawa and Kenji Gomi. This arrangement offers an idea of the variety of impressions that can be found in our exhibition.
