This is a very interesting transceiver produced for the French army around 1979. It works from 26-76MHz range, pretty unique for a military unit. It has 10 channels that can be programmed from the front panel. Channel spacing can also be changed from 25KHz to 50KHz, with or without 150Hz NATO’s tone.
Unit was working fine. When I was doing an inspection I discovered some corrosion. I decided to clean the area but things went wrong, looks like I shorted something and the radio was no longer working. I had a hard time because there is no technical manual anywhere.
With some help (thanks Hans, Jorge, José…) I got it working again.
Back-up battery is NiMh 4.8V. You can use 4x 1.2V cells in series to achieve that voltage if you can’t find a suitable battery.
If you have any technical information please share it. It is a shame that some radios are broken in the shelf.
