Those cries, the puppy's tears of loneliness and sorrow, shattered my heart.
Teddy was found on a hot summer day, he fell into the gutter and couldn't get up. He was covered in mud and looked very tired. The first thing we did when we got to the vet was given him a bath. A heat stroke and many days without food dehydrated him and exhausted him completely. Why would a puppy get lost there? I thought he was abandoned. The boy was completely covered in lice, can you see them? Because of the bite of these lice, everything turned into scrapes and wounds. The boy was being resupplied, due to exhaustion, he lay motionless. Do you see his eyes? It was the look that broke my heart. After one night, he didn't make any progress either. His temperature dropped continuously; I couldn't hear his breathing at all. The sad thing is that he couldn't eat by himself.
I used my hand to feed the boy, hoping he would eat to recover soon. Do you see his crying? It broke my heart when I saw those tears. Those were tears of tiredness and abandonment. I had to do everything I could to help this poor puppy recover. As he had difficulty swallowing, I diluted it and used a syringe. This seemed to be going badly, the boy would make him have more strength to fight. At that time, I was the only one left with the poor puppy at the vet. The atmosphere at the vet was stifling and silent. Looking at him, I had more courage, to take care of him and protect him. We still had a long road to recovery. The boy was very thin, he would need to gain weight and stamina.
The next day the boy continued receiving intravenous fluids. Being under the harsh climate affected the puppy greatly. Teddy had enteritis and infection; he vomited every time he ate. That made me extremely nervous and I fell into a state of bewilderment. The doctors persisted in treating Teddy even though difficult situations kept coming. I took this boy's hand, hoping to give him more strength to overcome. Teddy was a loving but shy puppy. He looked at me timidly, perhaps he was not close to humans since childhood. And I hoped that this treatment would yield good results. The intestinal tests came back very well. He was able to eat and drink normally. It was nice that he changed day by day. Have you seen how much our boy had improved? The boy was able to stand, eat and drink by himself. That day was Teddy's last treatment, his recovery was like a miracle. The next day we were able to go home together. We were at home, he still needed to take medicine for a while. The skin wounds were slowly disappearing, the boy was becoming different. Teddy's eyes were happier, he is excited about the toy I gave him. Soon his hair will grow back, and he will become a beautiful and healthy boy. Thank you for following us and always supporting us.
