I did the everest circuit trek to the Base camp over 19 days a few years ago. Hopefully this pandemic will ease soon as I cannot wait to head back to Nepal. The best thing about being in Nepal is it really make you appreciate the simple things in life. A cup of hot bevrage and a hot meal that you take for granted back home after arriving to the teahouse, and it feels like the most amazing reward in the world. Not to mention the shower at the end after being in the wild for a couple of weeks is the most amazing feeling; something that's hard to experience in normal life. Thank you for your awesome contents Kraig! Hopefully this COVID thing is not affecting you and your channel too much .

14:12 Those gold color plates are bronze plates which is typical metal used in Nepali kitchen. In ancient times lots of people died of Titanus (bacterial infection) which they believed was caused by iron made kitchenwares. Titanus bacteria survives well in rusty iron but in those days they didnt know about the bacteria. They completely abandoned iron made materials in their kitchen. Thats why they use bronze kitchenware till today.
