Thank you so much for sharing. Like others have said, it shows how open and trusting you are to your fans, keep sharing. It's these rare moments that make your fans love you for who you are and inspire us to be greater. If you're feeling overwhelmed, try doing something that will help you relax, like meditate or simply watch the sunrise. Try to take time out of each day/week to simply spend with your family. Make crafts, watch a movie, go hiking... Most people don't realize how quickly life can pass you by if you let it.

Jason Frank first off, thank you for opening up and talking to us. That takes a lot of courage for some. Some of us tend to keep our feelings good/bad locked up and we are loosing out on feeling those actual emotions. You have such a positive outlook on life and yes you are fearless and strong. Strong minded and strong will-ed. You are very much grounded and honest. I smiled when I heard you admit that you have never really "stopped" to just take in your surroundings, or looked beyond what you were standing in front of. I guess that it is hard to do that when you are being pulled in so many directions of life and tend to hold a ton of responsibility on your shoulders. Add the pressure of always being put on the spot to be this character that we all have come to appreciate, look up to and love. These are not bad things, but i feel like how you are explaining yourself, you are lacking balance. They say those who work hard, play hard right? Well that is also true when it comes to self love. Do you make enough time for you? Do you take 2 minutes out of your day to just do nothing. Sit, close your eyes and do nothing but breathe. When you are done, open your eyes. Look around wherever you are and just notice how you feel. What appeals to you, what doesn't? How do you feel about your surroundings? I understand that your mind is always racing, my bf has the same mind. He has a need to always figure things out, and once he does that, he needs to make them better. Or faster. What ever "it" is, he needs to fully understand it and make sense of it. This can be very destructive if you don't learn to control it. I'm not saying that you are as he is. But he is also learning that if you take just 2 minutes, seriously set a timer or program your phone/ipad an a 2 minute timer. Take those two minutes and just breathe. Your breath has a direct connection to the mind and body. The slower the breath, the slower the mind and therefore the more observant and clearer your thoughts become. Even if you cant complete the full 2 minutes, that's fine. Just show up tomorrow and try again. Consistency is key to improvement. Sorry if I rambled on and on.....it's hard to put actions into words sometimes. Hope that you try this and hope that it helps. Just know that there is a plan for all of us here, and its okay to want answers. But you need to slow your mind down so that when those answers come, you will hear, see and feel them.

Very true. It is important to stay true to yourself. Sometimes we get so caught up in doing what's expected of us, we lose track of ourselves. Instead of following the crowd, I'd just do my own thing, even if I goof up. To me, life is like traveling. It's not about the destination, it's about the journey. Life's an adventure. Embark on it.

Thank you so much Jason for sharing your thoughts. Never lose that connection and desire to just talk to your fans and talk to people as a real person. Like you said, your rough upbringing I pray will keep you forever grounded. It gives you a humility and a realness that you don't often find in celebrities who often seem so detached, and who ignore the things that really matter. Btw, if you haven't already, watch this video of Brian "Head" Welch's testimony, the lead guitarist of Korn. I always find it inspiring, and he is similar to you, in the way that he is "real" and "raw", and not afraid to talk about his fears and give his thoughts. In the video he talks about how he found God and conquered his addictions to drug and alcohol, giving him a new lease on life instead of going down the path of suicide. I Am Second - Brian "Head" Welch

I don't think it is a matter of 'addiction'. I think it is more a problem that we all secretly worry about if we are doing everything we can in our life, if we are doing what God has intended for us to do, if we are doing everything we can for our families. Worrying about these kinds of questions make us stare at the doors that have closed not because we are stuck in the past, but because we fear that no opportunity will come along to make us achieve answers to these questions, these fears. I have no friends, lost all them because I married a woman knowing she was in a wheelchair, but I loved her (and still do lover her, been together 13 years this year, married 11 years this year, and have a 9 year old boy that is our world) and I chose to make her happy rather than worry about what my friends thought of the situation. We have had hardships, almost lost my son several times do to his health, and I still ponder those questions, but I think God everyday I'm alive for what I have and work hoping to achieve my dream of becoming a game programmer. I find it better to focus on what matters to me than worry about what others think, but I do have moments of weakness where fear takes over and I get depressed wish I could give my wife and son the world. We put enough pressure on ourselves as is, but always seem to have others who think they know better than we do as to what is better for us and try to impose that on us or nag at us until we give in. In this day and age, there is no such thing as 'normal', people are just too different to have an example of normal anymore.

Jason, wow guy. Second time in your vids that I can hear some real soul searching. I can only pray people realize how deep of a person you are. Too much to write to here. I can relate to so much. Will put in a letter and give to you at Megacon. I will be there as the White Ranger. Till then, peace, breathe, take time for the simple things. Taking time NOT to work is OK. Love your family, find joy in simplicity. Thank God for blessing you for what you have and thank him for your early years of not having so you can appreciate it. Stay away from emotional vampires, don't try to be everything to everyone. Plan a family trip where people say, Power Who? This will put a lot in perspective and help you turn the monkey brain off. Peace my friend.
