This is a exercise that is perfect for thrash guitarists looking to enhance their right hand speed, tightnessn, precision and muting the string. Follow along with the track that starts at a manageable 120 BPM and gradually ramps up to 170 BPM.
General Tip: Notice any tensions in your right hand or arm (and sometimes even the neck), and try to play as relaxed as possible. It took me years to even notice how much tensions I had, one day (2017) it actually gave me a herniated disc in my neck because of all the tensions.
(The fastest part at the end is a little sloppy, need to do my exercise more 😉)
