So happy to see your new video. I have always wanted to make a spool quilt. Your directions are so easy to follow. I love Baby Lock. I have the Crescendo. Glad you had the time and health to make videos again.

Thank you Nancy. I adore the old spools. I should have put my jars of old spools into the video frame. Oh well, I am getting used to the baby lock and I want to learn to do my own quilting. Do you quilt on your Baby Lock? I have been searching for KZitem videos and have watched several. Just finding the time and stepping out of my comfort zone to learn something new doesn't come easy for me, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Perfect timing! I’ve just started gathering fabric for a spool quilt. Thought I might use selvage strips for the thread part. I like the idea of appliqués on the “thread.”

Oh that is so great. Please post a picture of your competed quilt. The selvages for the thread is a unique idea. I save the ribbons that my layer cakes come with and those would probably work sewed together for the thread too. Thanks for watching and giving me feedback.
