This Adventure takes us to the North Wash Area of Utah, where we descend into the depths of Three Canyon, a tributary feeding into the Green River. The real action starts with a 100' rappel off of nice bolt anchors and then down a couple short sections of Class 3 climbing, From there the next 3 miles are basic hiking through the deep sandy steep walled canyon with an intermittent stream that does support copious plant life in several areas. . . that have us bushwhacking through dense brush. That battle ends at the Green River Proper and this leg of the journey is punctuated by spectacular views of short deep tributary canyons along the way. Leaving the Green River, we retrace our steps to one of the larger tributaries and climb to a sneak ledge to surmount an overhanging dry-fall and then up a steep wall, class 4 to a steeper Class 5 Climb out escaping the canyon. Thankfully I had set a hand line for the serious climbing section, there were also bolts for those prepared to lead climb it.
