I use a technique where by pulling the center lines a few times (gently) the kite flips over, then, pull on one steering line so the kite will "stand up vertically" as a normal assisted launch position. Your technique is amazing, but it still needs some wind force to flip the kite.

Good idea - but how to grab the opposite center line with a bar with a high V? For my Core bars, I’d need to move up the line for 5 m or more to get above the V to grab the one of the center lines. And: how to avoid the kite falls on the trailing edge - which in my experience is clearly worth compared to having in on the front tube - even the weight of the additional water makes it more difficult in light wind)

High V doesnt really work but Core kites arent really designed for low end power. They tend to perform better in stronger wind conditions so I dont think theyre the best lightwind kites out there

@@KiteboardingStPetersburg Thanks for your reply. I’d not agree that my Core XR 17m is not a good light wind kite. One has to keep in mind the 5 strut structure which is great stability fir jumping, but at about 9 knotes it has strong tendency to backstall. For me this is not relevant because with my weight and a big board I need 12 knotes. If you go out with a wave board of hydrofoil, you may like to have a 3 strut, 1 strut or no strut kite. You will also find great models for this in the CORE range of kites. So not sure from where you are taking the statement of core = bad for low wind…? Concerning Cabrinha: I had many of my kitelessons on Cabrinha kites. They did not catch me..🤷🏻♂️
