Hermes has built up their horology division, and I have to say they are making excellent watches at the moment, and the GPHG awards show it. Thanks, Bill for the share.

Loove the ingenuity and innovation Hermes watche movements provide. However I wish the finishing was more hand done but I understand that they only make mass/serial production watches.

Hello Bill, I wonder how many watches in your collection, but may not be a question to ask ..quite a few I am thinking, hello from Australia. Iam interested in horology, at this point in time I'm all ears taking in information. I will look at your past videos, also interested to hear of current and past American watch makers. So many intricate works of art and time pieces. Appreciate your channel thankyou.....google autocorrect didn't interrupt this message. Thanks Bill

Hello Eric Welcome to Professor Sanders Horological University I'm in my 3rd year with Bill and have turned into a huge watch Geek, stopping people on the street see what they are wearing on wrist. Two days ago stopped a general contractor wearing a non working $5k Tag Heuer, but he wears it everyday for luv of watch despite it not functioning. I told him we watch geeks appreciate guys like him & left him all smiles. We don't get into the burgers and fries much here (Rolex Omega Tag) more Kobe beef and truffles (Parmigiani Daniel Roth Philip Dufour) .....Yummy ! just like bills Videos. I have found no better channel in 4 years. See you Saturday 8 a.m. mate.

I like the well priced Hermes 08 42mm sport watches with Vaucher sourced movements presented as the Calibre H137 as an alternative to the usual suspects. It make take awhile longer before the images of quartz H watches and Cape Cod references are replaced in people’s minds by the kind of fine horology Hermes is now producing. The biggest problem with fine watches offered by accessory makers like Hermes, Chanel and Montblanc is having the watches presented by horologically saavy sales representatives. Try asking to see a reference with Minerva movement in even a large Montblanc boutique in the US. I am going to be in Las Vegas as a spouse at my wife’s pharmacology conference and I am going to be interested in seeing how the various Hermes boutiques at the Bellagio and elsewhere present Hermes horology.

My bet Howard is that those working at the boutique at the Bellggio don't know jack about the horology or VMF. Ask why their scarves are so 'special.' I bet they don't know about the multiple dying process Hermès scarves are put through. I'd like to see us both surprised! Take care, Bill

Trialandall-the Tonda Selene is a woman's watch ... around 34mm, and it's pretty expensive. I just don't think there's much interest in it. See what you can dig up on your own. Take care, Bill
