Film is a series of flights by the rubber-powered free-flight models built by Dave Mitchell, flown at the Cow Palace near Culpepper, VA. The 24" Fokker Dr.1 triplane is from the Ozark Model Aviation short kit, flown on it's very first trim session. (still needs a few last scale details.) Next is the 54" Bellanca CF with a beautiful thermal flight. Lastly, comes the 24" 1926 Armstrong Whitworth AW.154 Argosy. Filmed by Walt Farrell. Photos by Dave Mitchell & Clive Gamble.
