True Original source is Veda which many master forwarded it to next generation. But one correction in the statement. Brahman has not BECOME, but it appears as everything. Without undergoing any change. When we say Brahman has become which implies Brahman has converted to something else. But Brahman is changeless, So vedanta proclaims it's not Brahman becomes but appears, seemingly, as though, everything. But unfortunately in due time, even in Advait Vedanta such misunderstanding has been created because of the choice of the wrong words

I think spiritual journey starts from davaitam then it enters into vashishtdvaitam and finally reaches to advaitam. The final realisation that God is everywhere and I m the God or I m fully dipped in the ocean of God is ultimate truth.
@VedantaGuruji

Right. But not necessarily you have to go through all these stages in this life time. It may be possible that you have already completed your part of journey in previous life. So one may directly follow adwaitam.

yup I agree. but common people cannot understand advaitam philosophy so easily. we all see separation from each other .. we see we are different from each other and when we think of God we think He is something separate from us controlling our actions, destiny etc. then gradually we realise we r part of same supreme power. our soul is a the actually a small part of the whole God, and finally we realise that we are not separate from that Supreme God. I m upsc student thanks from explaining everything. 😊

It is an effort to eyewash and please everyone. In reality, none of the Schools ever converge in the matters related to "Ishvara", "Jeeva", "Jada", "Jagat", "Moksha" etc. The fundamental principle behind these three Schools are different. Only one school of thought (among these three) can be true, not all. Advaita says: "God is real; Other souls (like you and me) are the same God; This world is unreal. Whatever we experience (from our eyes, ears, nose, touch etc.) is also unreal; Due to ignorance (ajnaana), the God has forgotten himself as one and he is dreaming as if there are so many souls. One fine day will come; that day, the God will realize that he was dreaming all these days due to ignorance. That day, he will feel that there is only one entity - God - that is, he himself. And, the entire world is not real (what you see, what you hear, what you experience etc. are not real). Vishishta-advaita says: God is separate; other souls are separate. God is great; Other souls, when they attain moksha (liberation), they become equal to the God (God is kind enough to grant boons to all other souls to get the equal power). Dvaita says: There is only one Supreme Lord (who is real). All other souls are also real; but they have gradations due to their merit (svabhaava). These souls can never become one with the Supreme Lord. They ever remain as separate entities. The world (Jagat) is real; there are five-fold differences between the three entities viz., Ishvara, Jeeva, Jagat. All other souls are bound by the Supreme Lord. Other souls (like us) have to perform prescribed duties to get His grace and eventually, the Moksha. * Can anyone fundamentally prove that there is a match in any of these Schools of thought? In this talk, only an example has been taken to "reveal" the three schools of thought. In fact, none of the Schools have been explained here.

Ultimate aim is Moksha and understanding God All 3 are different ways to reach moksha, I am MADWA follower ( Dwaita) and there is big big difference in 3 schools. In total 22 schools are there 22nd being Madwacharya (Dwaita). Please read the philosophy before presenting you are using your own logic and confusing others as well. Advaita being the first philosophy and is being discarded by remaining all 21 Gurus, Ramanuja and MADWA discards it to extereme. Your example of steel is false in following manner Steel being the God then steel plates glasses etc are forms of God ( Eg. Vaishnu has various incarnations as Ram, Krishna, Vedavyasaa etc Here let us assume steel to be Vishnu then steel plates, glass etc are Ram Krishna Vedavyasa ) If I insert water in them then it is said that soul resides in God, I e water in steel glass. Water can at no time become steel Water is water Steel is steel in that way God is God Soul is soul, soul can never be God. Advaita says all God's are one Ramanujacharya says Vishnu is superior and others are different but in Moksha they will become one In Dwaita Vishnu is superior and other Demi Gods are his servants and they follow a Gradation system (similer to the model of President, PM, Other ministry, CM ) as per their ability. Further Demi God's (devatas) have kept the name of Vishnu in the same manner as we keep God's name as our name (Eg. Ramkrishna is the letcurer's name which is originally name of God)

These are not different ways to reach Moksha, they are different understandings of the nature of the Supreme on the same path to reaching Moksha. Regardless of if you subscribe to Dvaita, Advaita, or Vashistadvaita, you still reach God through prescribed methods of Yog or Bhakti. Different ways of reaching Moksha include Buddhism or Sikhi or Jainism. Now to your main point: Water is Water and Steel is Steel makes sense, but both Water and Steel are made of the same fundamental elements on the periodic table, in different configurations. Don't reach too much into the word steel, the idea is that advaita recognizes that on the most fundamental level, we are made of the same stuff, whereas Dvaita purports dualism in a sense that things are fundamentally different.

As per Advait Vedanta, nimitta karanam and upadan karanam that is intelligent cause and material cause both r one, that is Brahman. Secondly we are using examples from the relative world, which has limitations. And while understanding through examples we need to understand the limits of examples. We can't strech the examples beyond a point.

This has been explained several time. But in brief, You are also infinite. And when u consider yourself limited to Body, mind that is mistaken identity. And when u say I m limited, u consider I as this body mind. But u r the Self, Atman, Brahman. So when this error is gone, u understand u r one with total, u r whole. Infinite. All these creation, destruction is mithya. Therefore, u r the Self, not this limited body. U r infinite
