In our second visit to Lowleigh, a passing station on the ex-GWR branch which wends its way from Kidderminster to the market town of Brombury, we watch the morning freight arrive. Three vanloads of supplies are delivered to Tuckers' agricultural business situated in the station yard. A now empty mineral wagon, which has been unloaded since our last visit, is collected from the local merchant's siding. This scene was played out countless times at stations up and down the country in the days of steam before this traffic was lost to road transport.
